Such an eye opening video on various levels. I myself attended anupama’s class and after her class I verified some of the info with the doctor and my doc right away rejected those saying they are untrue. Even after my doc’s info I did a lot of reading and found after all my doc is right. Her videos,classes focus mainly on natural birth and natural conception. For some medical reason if we opt for medical conception or c section they will make you feel less of a woman and mother. All her followers are blind people

It’s okay to bottle feed either way baby should be healthy and mother also should be healthy to take care of the child. Someone spoke about it finally.. I’m a mom of 8 month baby girl. Anupama’s fee is high for her pregnancy classes. Felt not worth the money after attending her sessions. From then on I decided not to go behind these group of people. Just listen to your mom/mil and get help from your family. They are the best support group. Never waste money on these fancy courses. Trust your doctor and consult them if any help required

After crossing EDD my doctor went for c sec as my baby’s head was slightly tilted. Later in my locality all the neighbours talked rubbish about my delivery bcz it was not normal. At that time of postpartum depression, i had a feeling that I should have been went for any of these birth centers regretting my doctor’s words. But later I realised that was just postpartum effects. Happy i didn’t fell for their words and listened to my doctor. Today even with c section me n my baby are absolutely fine.

Where you should be preparing for childbirth and parenting is from WHO labour care guide. WHO and NHS support home births when necessary. It’s evidence based. Saying if u give birth naturally your baby dies is irresponsibly made and a cherry picked example. Any hospital which is sincere about informed consent, and not isolating you during birth is not a negotiable. For parenting- read Scott peck, Philippa perry, or even from John Hopkins website/Harvard medical. Stay upto date on NiH. If you’re not from a science background- follow those who put it in a way you can understand eg- Anupama, Mayas mama etc share what’s on their page. Most Indians are going towards sleep training- which no parenting influencer has shared until now. Sternauissa is a great place to start. If he endorses “smack the **** out of your kids” it says all I need to know about him.

This scenario reminds me of an old incident, An Amway business representative after completing a one week course in "nutrition n diet", called himself as Nutritionist and conducted a health meet to promote the supplements. I attended that meeting along with my dad. I didn't know how dangerous it was (at that time) But my dad who was having diabetes consumed too much of supplements, protein powder etc., and ended up with kidney failure. 😢 and he passed away in a few months. At that time I was so furious against half baked information and over confident ppl preaching without proper knowledge.. this is yet another drama, with different actors yet the same old story..😥😕

Im sorry for your loss but Nutrilite supplements are the best i would say, I just consume them on daily basis, 1st of all if a person having diabetes for sure intake a lot of medications and which might caused him kidney failure, you can't blame the supplements. May I know how many years did he consumed ? Because one of friend who went through cancer has been fully recovered through Nutrilite supplements. I personally benefittted, our family hasn't visited hospitals for the past 10years. But u can't blame the supplements for already damaged organs due to heavy medication and not supplements. Really worth watching!! Those influecer really created unwanted anxiety for me and my partner that "Having and Growing a baby is not a easy thing". I still remember those influencer made a marketing about women related issue and ferility issue. They were giving tips like " Cut down rice and sugar!! There are biggest enemy for those trying to concieve." This one thing literally borrow unexplained guilty and eating disorder if i consume things that they list out. To see what was behind the mask of such influencers who claim themselves as experts claiming to have knowledgeon such sensitive and important topics such as Body boundaries and sex education. No matter it is male or female...all are exposed to some sort of abuses. So, this trauma is chasing me still now, as I couldn't set my mindset to marry and get a baby. I am going to be married by next year, but somewhere in my mind says I couldn't proceed with sexual part of my life. So, i asked this lady about it. But she simply redirected to other person and not concerning even a small part about it. She doesn't even care about male children or male abuses. Her focus is only money minded.

I found your video through a Reddit post and I can’t believe I watched the entire video given how short my attention span is. My child is almost a teen now and I don’t follow these influencers but their posts pop up on my Insta feed often and I do know about them. While I don’t agree with you on everything, I think you’ve raised some very important concerns. The thing with influencers like this is, whatever they practice in their own homes is what they think is the ultimate truth that everyone should follow and that if they don’t, they’re doing it wrong. The fact of the matter is each child is different and each family has its own culture and sensibilities and parenting must reflect this. Anyone who says I have a one-size-fits-all solution is being dishonest. I’m glad you mentioned transitioning of minors in the West. It’s beyond horrible what’s happening. There are many influencers and school teachers even who truly believe they’re being heroes by confusing young children about their gender identity. You hear of so many cases of minors having undergone transition who regret their decision and are now trying to detransition but can’t go back to their old selves because they’ve been permanently altered with surgeries and hormones. Sadly, there’s huge support for this by the liberal government.

However they were answered by my doc..she was confident..n whtever was taught like a big deal in the workshop was literally taught in 30mins at my hospital itself...like wht was needed ideally So please believe in proper research with choosing your doctor well than researching on which influencer will teach what At the end of the day u will find one influencer amongst 3-5 but not a doctor... Hi bro. When i saw this video, i really thought bad about you as I follow Maya's amma, Anupama vriksham and sruthi nakul. But when I am done with the video i got a huge respect on you. Seriously what you said was 100 percent true. Unsolicited birthing advices, product endorsements that are too expensive, half baked parenting tips caused so much anxiety in me. I almost asked my ob-gyn not to do episiotomy after reading srubee's post. But luckily my doc was adamant and she did it. Don't know what complications it might have caused if she hadn't. Similarly following them created myth that baby led weaning is the best medthod for baby to eat. I literally tried it for 5 months and no major improvements. Finaly I opted to traditional weaning. But since my baby was not eating anything coz of blw in the first 5 months, he hardly eats 2 meals a day and he is 1.3 years old. He is completely on my breast milk otherwise. They never educate it properly or say it may differ from child to child. I regret for my mistakes. Even before the video i use to think i made mistake by quiting blw. I should have tried harder and taken some more sessions with those ppl. But thank god!!
