Just a little question. Why the hell did the constellar player activate omegas effect before the battle phase so the evilswarm player could chain sth?

Thunder birds effect was chaining to the activation of iron wall, iron wall has not resolved yet there fore banishing is still possible, chain will resolve backwards, Thunder Bird is chain link 2, iron wall chain link 1. Thunder bird resolves before the effect of iron wall can stop it. The effect of Omega was not active during the time dress was activated, so before entering damage step, omega activates effect, then he chains compulse to the effect of Omega, all still before damage step.

It's not to be offensive but the iron wall on first game was the WORST play he could have done. I understood it's against Edragons but it doesn't make sense in this match. He play lot of removal cards (thunderbird, RABBITS, kerykeon I guess) which with only one card it makes them useless.

During the second duel, can you really start a chain with a continuous trap card's EFFECT? I know you can start a chain by activating a continuous trap card, but I never heard about chaining with their effect like that. The card also states "Once per turn". The Continuous Trap Card belongs to the Evilswarn player. Clarification please?

It's possible. All trap cards (except from counter traps) are spell speed 2, so their effects can be chained to a spell speed to effect like Pleiadens one. Is that the clarification you asked for?

Why would you use Omega's effect during main BEFORE summoning Sombre? Omega's effect only affects the Constellars already on the field. Besides, isn't it always better to chain instead?

It's because he's taking note of the opponents life also, 8080, so he can just, -37 which equals to 8043 meaning he took 3700, and for when his opponent takes damage he'd do -1900 which after would look like this 6143, meaning 6100 and 4300

Can somone please answer? If you negate a monsters attack does it effect the monster? I also run evilswarms and i activated infestation pandemic and then went to attack with an evilswarm monster but my opponent said he can still negate the attack. Wouldnt that be effecting the monster.

Depending on the card, if it is like mirror force or d prison and you chain infestation, then you can redeclare your attack but if it is something such as Threatening roar or wabaku then infestation can't do anything. Not sure about swords of revealing light and infestation though

Ophions effect only affects level 5 or higer monsters, while xyz monsters have ranks. So he can summon it, because it is effectively rank 7 and not level 7

Constellar player misplayed which cost him the match. When he compulsory Heliotrope it would have caused a replay he should have killed the snowman Eater, then next turn he could have pushed for more damage

both of these two scrubs duelist cant even make a pro move..i've seen a lot of misplay. 1) evilsm didnt set pandemic then later ophion got compuls 2) try to banished thunderbird even though wall is preventin its eff from activating/doesnt gain the 300atk 3) evilsw trie to activate dress on during damage step since omega is unaffective by it. 4) constella player chains compulsory during damage which he cant..only card eff that modified atk points could able to activate that time. NOVICE!
