Evinrude and Johnson Tribute Video

Evinrude and Johnson have had an amazing career as the powerhouses of the outboard racing world. Not only have they been successful in both the recreational and professional use as race engines, they have also dabbled in the lives of movie stars. Live and Let Die, staring Roger Moore as James Bond, featured an amazing stunt powered by an Evinrude. Johnson V8s dominated the European races and some still do today! Needless to say, both Evinrude and Johnson have had a very admirable legacy so far and here at Reckless Productions we can only hope that it continues!

What a great video, the Johnson and Evinrudes still have a place in my heart. What a great company to deal with, they went out on a limb with there warranties also. Hats off to a Great Company !!

They should have made the v8 into a ETEC 2 stroke and shook up mercury , there already coming back on for sale inn the used segment brand new . They will be back one day .

My heart still goes out to Johnson and Evinrude. Being in the boat business for over 40 yrs. , they where great people and almost toooo good on their warranties.!! A great Company, many found memories of Waukegan and Milwaukee at their schools. May there be a place in Heaven for the people that developed the First 200 V6.!! Hurrrrrrrray !!!#!#

Хорошие моторы были! Постоянно с Меркури конкурировали. Но мы выросшие в СССР, всегда смотрели как там на западе. Мне лично моторы Эвинруд/Джонсон больше нравились, чем Меркури, но это дело вкуса. Привет из Хабаровска.

as an ex evinrude mechanic i always loved the Evinrude outboards as i knew they are really a good engines as i knew thiswas my fave outboards was Evinrude as i always liked the Evinrude motors as they are a part of the legengerary OMC as OMC was really the best outboard motor makers in my views as an ex Evinrue mechanic i swear by these outboards as they are really the best of the outboards was the best was Evinrude as i dont like the other outboard brands but i swear by Evinrude as they are really the best of the outboard on the market they are made by the good outboard makers was OMC the bests i do say

Rodney Turner The XP and GT motors (Evinrude and Johnson respectively) were intended to be not necessarily race motors, but higher performing motors than the standards.
