Even if you take the most improbable worst case scenario that all those votes were against bjp, only 3 seats could have their results affected. What about the rest of the seats? There are not just deficit votes, there is illicit voting. A famous personality in Andhra Pradesh Mr. K A PAUL(whom I follow and admire) complained about his number of votes he got. At a polling booth no.235 his family voted 22 votes for his prajasanti party, but he only got 4 votes. People are not believing him as he is little aggressive and speaks out of context. @@Shr761 hacking via internet is the most common and cliche thing ever. Any fukin thing with a microprocessor or chip in it can be hacked. It's called kernel hacking. You can hack any hardware devices, be it EVM or even your tv remote, with kernel hacking with the help of an adrino. The chip inside the evm can be manipulated in such a way such that whatever party icon you press on the evm, it will always go to only one party who's behind the exploit.

Next time, there should be a way where the voter gets the VVpat and a copy. We deposit the VVpat slip in the box, and retain the copy. Our system should grow in ways, such that a voter should be able to verify whether their ballot/vote has been counted, and against which symbol. Irrespective of which party supports EVMs, I have a few questions about EVMs: 1. Who knows the code embedded in the EVM chips? It is not a great secret not to reveal this to public as everyone know the process of election and how it should be counted. Is this open to public for verification? 2. How do we know that same code is embedded in all lakhs of EVMs? 3. How do we know that there is no cryptic code that can manipulate the results in favour of one party? 4. Where are the testing cases and results of all EVMs? Are they open to all parties and public? How many test cases checked? 5. Where are these chips manufactured? Is that company reliable and test reports available from their side? Lastly, all these leaders who support or not support know anything about software and how they can be manipulated? I assume hardly 1-2% can comment. So, why they bark on subject which they don't know!! How many of them even passed Degree to understand this! Why everyone be open-minded and verify the reliability of these EVMs. In my opinion, EVMs can be easily mainpulated by the ruling parties. who have control over chosing the vendors, their manufacture and the scientific team. Are the opposition leaders given a chance to verify these in any stage! So, how it can be truested!! Developed countries itself are going away from EVMs. The Election commission claim that our EVMs can not be tampered because they cannot be connected to internet, bluetooth etc is foolish. First, they should disclose what is coded in the chip. Manipulation could happen in the manufacture itself.

I think it is time India uses the units everyone else uses - millions, billions, trillions instead of the confusing units they use. Also, these are all probably normal and within margin of error statistically as a %. There were like 900million voters and about 640million cast votes and about 0.5million discarded. This is about - 0.08% discarded. Why is this even news?

You realize that you are talking about elections and not manufacturing? Electronic voting machines were brought in, and ECI has argued, if you press A it registers A. No booth capturing what so ever. Even a single vote discrepancy should not be allowed as Indian constitution guarantee you vote. But, if you still can’t comprehend here is an analogy. We are a nation of 1.4 billion, constitution guarantees certain right like due process. Say you are wrongly accused and put on death row. We deny you due process, a grave error. But wait, whats the error rate? Should we even care about 1 in 1.4 billion?

There should be a print out taken from the Machine at the end of polling in the Form 17C format and that be given to the Polling agents with proper certfication. That should form the basis of Votes polled & to be counted on Voting day. Similarly at the start of polling another report showing all Mock Polls having been deleted should be taken out of the Machine. A running counter of Votes being polled should be visible from the Controller Machine and that Counter number shoukd match the data printed out as Form 17C. Dont know if its too much to ask for these reports from the machine ..

Would it happen that the VVpAt slip wouldnt print? Mine didnt. So asking. I waited, but since the machine beeped, i was asked to leave. Questions remained. Im sure many similar incidents might have happened.

All EVM were pre programed for win of BJP .in fact all EVM were pre programed for 400+ candidate win of BJP but unfortunately theef were unable to place all pre programed EVM. In 2019 BJP was successful to place all pre programed EVM to get desired win, and they got it. There is all theft and some of the government officials are involved in this, including poolice. Humble public of India, only to pey forced amount of taxes.
