@@jakesalhi8186 I don't know man... I miss how Guilty Gear was. You use to fight a lot more with your projectiles. And even then, it just isn't the same. I got into this series from watching XX and XRD. All the insane mixups, crazy resets, creative oki, back and forth. Constant fights. Watching STRIVE isn't the same by any means. And it bothers me. I just want to see all that potential live on. Be updated with something special. I'd love to see these graphics with Guilty Gear gameplay. But this game has no real depth. Cause it wasn't the execution that was hard in Guilty Gear. It was the decision making.

I just started playing strive this past week, and yeah I get why people like this game. Super fun and even while you are new you feel like you can do cool stuff unlike street fighter. Also love seeing that almost everyone is playing a different character. As a melee player I am used to seeing like 6 characters. Fox, Falco, Marth, Falcon, Sheik, and some Peach, oh and hbox with puff I am used to top 8s being mostly fox players. Seeing this game where it feels like every character could be in top 8 is great.

Not many tourney players will actually learn how to play 2 different characters at high level but it's a valid strat if your opponent is just using a character that is a TERRIBLE matchup for one of yours. Most brackets usually make it so only the player who just lost can switch mid-set
