Great video! I would also recommend changing the receiver with a brand new one, those things can only be exposed to air for no more than 24 hours before going bad and allowing moisture in the system! You can find one online or at your local auto parts store for under $20

sorry for posting on such an old video... the connectors that you plug into the ac fan... do they connect to the main harness near the fuse box? or is there another male end that you plug into the control module? undoing some bad aftermarket job on my current evo and am a bit puzzled

Great install and why didn't Mitsubishi use a large front mount intercooler instead of a small side mount.

Evo's do have a FMIC fron the factory. DSM's have the small side mounts from the factory.

Evo's have two large air/grill spots on the bumper. This allows both the FMIC, and Radiator/Condenser to get adequate airflow for cooling. DSM's on the other hand, only have one large opening for the radiator. If the DSM platform was to have a factory FMIC, it would need a complete redesign from factory. I know plenty throw FMIC's in front of the radiator on DSM's, myself included. But if you live in a hot climate and enjoy A/C, you will be fighting high coolant temps without additional ducting work.

Wickedrage bought the Evo as a roller so I didn’t have any a/c components
