You have a point,Honda would have spent millions of dollars perfecting the setup with the best parts they could and their engineers would have worked very hard on it over many days/weeks/years. Although the coilovers may be good quility they have not gone through testing as much as Honda did for the stock setup. Unless a specific company makes parts for only one manufacturer and does vigorous testing to perfect the already stock setup. Nothing will come close. It's the same with air intakes,oem air intakes are always better then aftermarket unless your fully built

droptima 2013 yeah not the case with intakes my Mazda Speed6 makes a extra 26 whp with a intake upgrade cause the stock turbo inlet pipe is really pancaked and restrictive

Fortune autos are OK... for like a regular Civic. But not for the Type R. It is such a downgrade and disservice to the car. Literally the only reason you would change it to a super high end coilovers like Ohlin, KW, Bilstein, or Eibach, is so you can manually adjust your suspension based on track layout and conditions, which nothing against Dustin, but he doesn’t know when/why/how to adjust them for that anyways.
