These values must go up again. There is so much wrong with modern cars that the demand for old cars just MUST go up. For Christ sake the Mustang has become an electric SUV 😵 I think there are exactly zero car enthusiasts that will ever want to put time and money in a classic E-SUV 😂 There is nothing to desire among the cars that were brought out this decade and even the decade before that. Car collectors and even just normal people that actually have a brain will only pay big bucks for classic cars in the future. I am never going to buy a post 2015 car in my life. I will have to cope with restoring old stuff. I think there are plenty of people out there that think the same. Cars with soul is a thing from the past. And there are loads of people that want a car with soul. Good luck Hoovie! I just had to pay of a personal debt as well 😉 I am just happy to not have that burden hanging around my neck anymore. I hope you will enjoy that feeling of freedom or something like that as well. Life is good when we gather the right people around us.

People dont understand that an increase in assett value came from the low interest rates combined with over a decade of economic boom. The big capital was looking for something to invest in. @@muskokamike127 I did not make that claim. My point: Hoovie is the Owner AND the General Contractor here. He has the duty to protect himself FROM himself FIRST. Especially if there is no written agreement between him and the interior finisher (or any other contractor) on a completion timeline and or what qualifies as contract completion. Contracting has rules, and he's not playing the game correctly here. Any lawsuit is going to end up with a "made-whole" settlement and Tyler will be out his lawyer fees, most likely. I find Hoovie to be a likeable character, but he is not at all a contractor or construction expert and has left himself exposed by his own lack of competency in this endeavor. Ignition (preferably engine) on, press & hold Down button until roof (or windows) fully retracted and KEEP IT HELD down for 5-8 seconds. Then press the Up button until roof (or windows) is fully raised AND KEEP IT HELD again for 5-8 seconds. Reset should be complete. There is a real lesson to be learned here. Everyone is a “genius”. When a certain market has lost its mind and has become inflated. The true geniuses are the ones who recognize it and sell it all when a market goes crazy, sit on your money, and then buy it all back when it drops 50%.
@scottmattern4822 ай бұрын
Actually, the reason why collectables inflated in price was because that's exactly what rich people do during inflation with a crashing stock market. You get rid of as much cash as possible by buying things, anything that will hold its value until you sell it when the markets normalize. Everything collectable went up in price, not just cars, it was artwork, baseball cards, etc. This is a predictable trend and a predictable market "adjustment". The economy is cyclical, the key is to take advantage of those 4 or 5 times it happens in a lifetime. Each time the markets fall hard, put your cash into things that hold value until the markets recover, then sell it all for as much cash as possible to invest in stocks. Let your cash grow with investments until the markets go down and repeat. You will retire very well off, if you make your moves at the right time.

I wouldn't sell the SLR; the SLR is just too cheap at the moment for what you're getting. Lets not forget the SLR was compared to cars like the Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari Enzo when it was released and those cars have legendary status and are worth millions now. Yes the SLR is more common than the cars I've just mentioned, but that doesn't warrant it being a tenth of the price of those cars. Give it 5 years and your SLR will be worth at least $500k.
