So because of Choy Yeb Kang, Kamil Pearl, grey757777 and many many of you requesting for the Honda Accord Facelift Review, and due to the fact that there are no media test drive units yet available, I decided to head to one of the dealers with a test drive unit (fresh off the oven, super fresh) to drive the new Honda Accord 2.0

great personality. love the review. i have 2017 accord sedan sport manual (usa version 2.4/189hp) and i avoid touch screens and too many sensors, prefer me driving the car and not the other way around. u can also get a dash kit from carid over here - (real carbon fiber or any other material) and it will make the interior so better. the interior of this 2.0 looks slightly better-quality too compared to the us sport version. great job :D

wow its kinda amazing how some of the stuff inside the accord are done differently, compared to the North American Models. I live in Canada, and own the Sport (2.4 Litre, which is also feature rich compared to the US model) but in the Malaysia model noticed stuff like, how the red hazard button just really stands out and takes away from the centre console area, also the cup holders look smaller and have the door. Havent seen that storage drawer before! thats pretty cool and also as you mentioned the seats going down all at once, where we have the 60/40 split. Pretty interesting to see whats out there, then again i can see how the manufacture wants to best cater to the region. Thanks for the video! good stuff! Hello from Canada : )

If you're going for the 2.0, it's below 200k from what I heard. Very highly specced from the one I tested (kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5awn2qFlJyLjqM) Accord is more comfortable in terms of interior space and overall ride quality. Passat is basically a Golf GTI in sedan guise, mighty fast, suspension on the firm side, comes with powered tailgate, sophisticated suspension etc.

Bobby, if u want to upgrade, consider buying canon 80d / 70d with 10 - 18mm Usm lens + a rode mic and a bendy tripod like most vlogger will do . Casey neistat for instance. Good for videoing yourself and not very bulky. 😊

Hye Bobby. One question for you. Between Civic 1.5 Turbo and Accord 2.0, for a long journey, which one is more comfortable? Because I am just 4 cm shorter from you hahaha. And I notice that, for the size like us, our legs would be uncomfortabe if we drive quite a long time. Civic is definitely the better handler. But Accord is ultimately a larger car altogether. I'd go 1.5 turbo Civic. But the Accord to me is a lot more handsome.

in a dilemma between this two. accord gives a executive style with front sensor and lane watch which the civic doesn't. while civic is much more powerful and better tech

+Phonthip Rimthian i'll give you the deal breaker scenario then: Civic is CVT while the Accord is a good ol 5 speed auto. Feels so good and familiar when driving the Accord with a conventional torque converter, more 'natural' feeling. Kicking the pedal down without the rubber band feeling feels great.

Hi Fairuz, in terms of being elegant, few cars can challenge how the new facelifted accord looks. However, given that the 1.5TCP has LED headlights whereas the 2.0 Accord doesn't, it's a close battle. The Accord is of course a larger more comfortable car in terms of space, but the Civic doesn't fall far behind, and in terms of handling, the Civic seems to edge better. The Accord is a good D segment but the Civic is a great C segment car.

viknesh248 yes, the civic equals the accord in many ways. And the accord is only a smidgen more spacious to be honest. But accord looks 100k more expensive from the outside.

+Bobby Ang hi Bobby, I'm looking at 2.0 C segment between this 5 speed and Camry 2.0 (6speed). Concern on the old 5 speed as more cars now moving towards 7 or 9 speed already. Even Camry now has 6speed auto but not sure it's CVT or not. Another thing is how is the backseat comfort between this and civic? Appreciate your opinion on this.

+Randy Chong Civic is almost as spacious. But the seats are mounted very low in the cabin so the Accord is definitely more comfortable. The 5 speed gearbox works alright for me. Responds well enough too.
