Held together with the EVO Squad car club, RE Motorsports opened its doors for an open day where everyone was welcome to run their cars up on the dyno. The 4G63 powered Mitsubishi EVOs were out in force and ranged from mild to absolutely wild.

haha, that's mine guys, it's quite common on Supra RZ in Japan as alot of them have stayed twin turbo and being able to keep the side mount intercooler. Unfortunately going single you need to go front mount and remove the active front lip system. Glad the fullboost boys had a laugh when they saw the send nudes sticker pop down haha

@ChrisHallett83 I believe they used to be a throw away item as front mount intercoolers were everything, i've decided to keep the active lip and instead upgrade to a thicker side mount intercooler from whiftbitz in the UK

Built 2.3, gtx3582r, 280 cams, 2000cc injectors, etc... 429hp?? What am I missing? I've made that much on several mostly stock 4g63's with bolt on's.

Is it just the ramp rate on that dyno, or do those cars at the pointy end of the horsepower rankings there have a really peaky power band and nothing down low? A peaky engine might go good on the drag strip but sucks everywhere else.

Definetly not on the pointy end, built evos in the US are making 800-900hp and are used solely for drag and roll racing on the freeways. Most of the evos in the video would destroy most cars on a track or twisty roads.
