Having DJI products, I don't like the limitations they put on there. Leaning towards the Autel for the next drone.

This was quite helpful, and your kids were great sports about it. One question I had was how these images look through a canopy of trees or foliage? If we are looking for a person in a state park or forested area would there be a sufficient IR signature to differentiate individual from animal etc.?

In trees or foilage, I would use the "hottest" palette to help locate them. You won't see a human figure but you will find items of interest that can be further investigated

Great comparison! Does the Evo II Dual have isotherm capability? Appreciate all the hard work you put in for these tests 👍🏽

Thanks for that test. Really interesting and as good a result as I hoped from the Autel. Think this will be a great piece of kit for emergency services and sar.

Thanks for these tests! Very useful and just the right amount of detail. Are you using the latest software and firmware? The numbers at the top of the screen seem to be too big for the space.

Thanks Garret for this helpful video, Evo 2 Dual is a good compact package 👍 But why Autel omitted FLIR MSX technology when they are using Flir Boson 640x512 thermal sensor, is really crazy?🤦 Even drones like Anafi Thermal and M2ED with Flir Lepton thermal sensor have MSX.🤔 As You have pointed out many times MSX really makes a difference in Firefighting and SAR situations that these thermal drones would be mostly used in.🤔

I sent you a question on your Twitter page a while ago in reference to your use of IR flashers and the XT2 camera. Your video showed the XT2 camera picking up the IR flasher on a subject in the field. What flasher did you use? I'm having a really difficult time finding a flasher that will work with the XT2.
