Arslan is the irrefutable G.O.A.T. 5 times evo champion in such a short time and in tourneys that are this stacked, surreal. Bro not only held his own but played unbelievably good in a top 6 where everyone was exclusively using the buffed Dragunov.
@tristan45586 ай бұрын
Any haters who would say otherwise are undoubtedly below average IQ
@welsh_steel22856 ай бұрын
Nina is arguably stronger than Dragunov from a pressure sense, in a clutch environment via her animations and less pick rate, she also has insane wall travel and slightly broken damage. Many men prefer to play Dragunov because he's a cool character, male char preference and its less far less of a playstyle shift than playing characters like Nina or Xiaoyu. Most players don't have a strong passionate main in T8 yet, only true King/Nina/Dragunov/Xiaoyu/Feng mains can be relatively happy but Tekken's neutral shift to spam aggression has hurt a diverse gameplay and gamestyle scene. People hand out GOAT's too casually, its ridiculous, we've had the same old players while Arslan is an obsessed fresh youth who's happy to spam awkward female picks while most pro's are passionate about their male characters. I can't remember the last time a male, legacy tekken character with a diverse gamestyle design has been strong for the reward, its been an Arslan and an Akuma meta for too long... I think its a shame that Atif just can't clutch out some more wins, tournaments are just a bit too rng really, leagues are better.

@@welsh_steel2285 bro, really? Do you think any Nina player would've won the EVO against Atif? Stop being salty my guy.. Ever since Nina is Arslan main even before this Dragunov meta.. if you ask pro's drag is the most broken character in the current meta lmao..

@@tristan4558 Ye Arslan is such a Nina main that he used Nina regularly in T7 tournaments...like never. I think Jodd on a good day could beat anyone but my main point is, not a lot of competitors play to their strengths or want to actively adapt towards female picks. Like Xiaoyu is super annoying to handle but we barely see any of her, its not rocket science, men have their preferences. I just ultimately wish were could see Tekken leagues, a return to neutral and rewarding more legacy characters with wall travel and "GUNS" as much as Nina. Short sets and aggressive playstyles are also biased.

Arslan Ash is the definition of being extremely extra ordinary at one thing and thats TEKKEN. I cannot fathom how this guy maintains his focus on this. LOVED the gameplay they both did, the excitement of who will win was thrilling asf!

Arslan is that GUY! Arslan has convinced me to start playing Tekken over SF. Even my friend who's been a long time SF player has moved across to play Tekken. Arslan is the GOAT of Tekken.

Actually so sick to see Arlsan win BECAUSE his defensive game is the best in the game. People said T8 was just spam, but clearly, we can see here that if you adapt and play smart Tekken, you'll be the one to be feared.
@dujekrneta71546 ай бұрын
While i'm a knee fan but Arslan is a monster and makes s strong case of being the best in the world Pakistan players have always played agresive tekken and with tekken 8 being the definition of agresive they will rule tekken 8, i don't see the koreans adapting to their style case of thr defensive aproach they take in every tekken,this is not downplaying of pakistan players but tekken 8 just suits them more then the korean or japans players
@TheLifeLaVita6 ай бұрын
you guys think atif that is apparently an "aggressive" players spams with no reason? And that arslan never presses buttons or challenges anything? Idk what you guys watch. They're both aggressive and defensive the same exact way
@dujekrneta71546 ай бұрын
@@TheLifeLaVitawho said they spam like monkeys,they just take a more agresive aproach to the game and tekken 8 compliments their gameplay,they also have great defence,it's not like they just attack but in my opinion their attack is more on display then defence
@TheLifeLaVita6 ай бұрын
@@dujekrneta7154 that doesn't make any sense. They attack when it's the right time to attack. Everyone would do that, they shouldn't stand still. Arslan interrupted atif countless times here and challenged the strings. If anything Arslan is the aggressive one. They way I've seen use it it is a flawed metric
@fragr33f746 ай бұрын
@TheLifeLaVita bruh, interrupting attacks is defensive play. It's not a passive thing. It's the reason Arslan is goated. In football, there's a saying that I love: offence wins you games, defence wins you championships.

@UmarMunir946 ай бұрын
You're right. Arslan had already downloaded Atif's Dragunov in the Winner's Finals. Also, Atif was nervous and got carried away because Arslan was so close. Atif just started throwing everything without reading Arslan's moves or reflexes but Arslan was calm and composed as a Fox. Constantly playing in Grand Finals especially at EVO has trained Arslan for these pressure situations. He's way better at handling pressure.
