@@vanyel_etc8695 how the event is run should not be determined by the viewers. imagine you are in the game of your life in the final match of a tournament, and an artificial pause for viewer experience makes you lose focus, and lose the game. at this level everyone can beat everyone, every game is quite volatile in that sense. probably didn't affect the result this time, but that was really unacceptable for a serious tournament, and should not be repeated. respect for Johnny for everything he and everyone involved does for the scene, but that was just unprofessional and a total spit in the face to the players.

@@car8070 I get what you're saying, but in the end o the day the viewers are the reason there is a tournament to begin with. There is a reason why they don't play the game in a private match with no spectator and no broadcast

I'm sure the players take these tournaments seriously, and everyone else, including hosts, should as well, to ensure a fair result. ads are really easy to prevent anyways for the platform's end user themselves, if they want to ensure uninterrupted streaming without having to pay money for a subscription.

Shogun has an amazing voice perfectly suited for sportscasting, but for some reason I find him super annoying. Commentary needs to have some sort of ebb and flow to it. It's like he tries to maintain peak excitement for the entire match. It's a bit exhausting. You don't have to treat every single play like Frodo just destroyed the ring.
