@@ArgusGodz in the case of super 17, at least his blasts can hit like a train, so he forces the opponent to switch out and stuff, making him get cards to continue comboing. I think if evoken had 10% damage for 15 counts for every card they used, they’d probably a different unit, similarly to super 17.

That’s not to say evoken don’t hurt, they do, is just that they don’t naturally stack much damage, and being such a slow starter in such a fast meta makes them almost have to rely on losing an ally to get the gauge 50% charge to really become a great unit quickly.

they definitely are falling off fast, but mainly because UUI is also blast based, and neither of them can tank, as well as LF Cell starting to make a comeback due to Super 17 and MVP 17 being on the same team

The problem with evoken is that dbl is becoming a very passive pvp game (look at S17) and know one is willing to attack and they just pv fishing. Evoken u need to get his gauge up as much as possible and it's hard to do that when things like AOE green card and counter green cards makes it hard to make a move

No lie I think this game is bugged bc this isn’t the first time I’ve heard or seen someone saying something about the game registering an input wrong, the other day I was playing with Blue Beasthan in a last stand situation vs super 17 and I was at a stand still and it made me strike but the strike was locked bc of his ability to lock cards but some how it still activated but I ddnt click no where near the card Btw I end up winning bc of that 😂

I think you should try to use hellfighter 17 in a video as a showcase. I use him as a great heal, combo extension, tank, and if beast does a drop combo on him he can cancel their buffs on main to easily tank the blue
