can someone explain why someone would want to get these surfskate trucks and not just regular trucks? people been riding that way on regular boards for decades. regular skateboards turn just as good and wheel bite has been overcome by risers, wheel wells and technique. A regular board is more versatile .

My assumption is that you haven't spent much time on surfskates, because, no, a regular skateboard, even with aces or indy stage 11s, will never feel like a board with different front and back trucks. But to explain the reason I did my part on a surfskate: The flow of a surfskate feels better (to me) and it is more fun (for me) to ride. I do this for fun. Hope that clears things up!

@@MarktheLandlockedSurfer I have seen very talented skaters do that same things on regular skateboards. Skaters that have a surfstyle (who are also surfers) and can just carve and turn like they werent on skateboards.

Hi, It's a legitimate question, and I would be happy to explain it to you, but I would need more information first: Which surfskate trucks (brand and model) did you try and base your opinion on? It would be really helpful for me to answer your question properly. I've been riding regular skateboards in parallel with surfskates for many years, and I enjoy both for different reasons. However, I must disagree that regular skateboard trucks all turn the same way. No legitimate surfskate trucks feel the same as regular trucks, but there are many rip-offs and so-called surfskate trucks circulating in the market right now. I'm looking forward to knowing which surfskate trucks made you think they are the same as regular trucks so I can address your question properly. I have so much to say about WHY we like to ride surfskates, so I'm really excited to see your answer and discuss it further with you. Thank you!

@zumbiso thank you, I'm glad you liked it! We all evolved a lot throughout the making of this film, when the motivation is at its peak, it's a good driver for progression. If I may speak for myself, I never thought I was ready to do a feeble on such a big ramp on a surfskate, but I wanted to nail it as if my life depended on it 😅 I guess if I can do it, everyone can!

@@zumbiso stay reassured, it's been hard as hell for me too, it might look easy but it's an illusion, on that high ramp, I was giving everything I've got! I totally feel you, it's hard ! Keep it up though, I'm sure you'll get there; the feeling is totally worth the pain
