That’s our boxing season in 2022 now over. It’s been a busy yet quite year in comparison to our previous years but we can all agree a good one. Couple of ups and downs as expected throughout , A rollercoaster of emotions is boxing 😅
This year we added more Ulster and Antrim champions both youth and senior to our list and X3 International female champions. Our hilight of the year we had Anthony 'The Apache' Cacace finally getting his break after a disappointing start to the year winning his I.B.O world title in September fulfilling a life long ambition and new addition Willo Hayden staying on winning ways in Telford to end the year hitting a massive learning curve early on in the pro game 🔥
Our baby group kicked of this year and has been a great success in numbers led by Jack and Terry and also our Sting Like a Bee Saturday night project began in conjunction with the Police Mid & East Antrim .
As always we are still open for new coaches in an ever evolving club and if you are a former boxer or someone who is passionate about the sport why not get involved and give us a shout for the new year!!
Thank you to all of our coaching and volunteer staff for another year of bending over backwards commitment to ensure the club runs smoothly Iain Mahood , Gael O'connor , Nathan Boyle , Matthew Neill , Ingrid Quinn , Charlene Thompson , Lyndsay Mclintock and Alan Neill for all their hard work and sacrifices made to help with the boys and girls and club week in and week out 👏🏼
