I hate this idea. "Clearly I'm right because the information I'm providing never changes, and it never will." This sounds like a great excuse to people who don't actually understand how knowledge works, knowledge is accumulative. There is higher odds of you getting hit by a bus, while winning the lottery, while being struck by lightning, twice, than to get the answer to a question THIS BIG on your first try. We are going to assume that the very first explanation you made was the right one, and no new information could ever be added on? The idea that an unchanging theory is a good one is preposterous; and has time and time again been demonstrated to be EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE. The more willing a theory is to adjust it's model according to new information, the more likely it will survive, and evolve the scientific consensus, the less fluid models which do not accept new information always fall short, or are overtaken by theories which do accept new information; especially those studies built upon previous information from other reliable studies, which feed more information into the theories we all use today (Computers, phones, geolocation, and the very same technology used to espouse creationist talking points, the internet) all rely upon theories which get better as new information is provided them.

There is no protein in the basic structure of DNA. You only get proteins involved when you begin to look at superstructure of DNA like histones. or the transcription or replication machinery, or if you start to look at regulatory elements that bind to the DNA. Did anyone else catch his incredible dishonesty at 6:00? The line reads "There is not one such fossil" yet he reads out "There is no such fossil" While a small difference, it changes the meaning so much. The original text (to the best of my knowledge), with emphasis on the word 'one' is implying that no single fossil can ever be called a "transition fossil" as every fossil is already a transition, due to the incredibly slow but steady pace of evolution. Because of this, the changes between species simply could never manifest in a single fossil, since that's just not how it works. The fossil record functions much like the set of real numbers in that regard. Sure, the number 7 could be considered a transition between 6 and 8, but we consider it it's own number. What about 7.5? 7.25?? -- All you end up doing is blurring the lines between arbitrary points with even more arbitrary points. Due to the nature of fossils, any one with significant differences between two species, is simply going to be called a new species. And that makes sense, considering it's kin probably lived for thousands of years before and after it, barely indestinguishable from itself. Maybe I went too far in depth? But I think that's the point. Legitimate scientists are smart enough to weave such a vast amount of meaning into so few words. Yet deniers like Kent either refuse to see it, or simply can't. They take the words out of context, strip them of their true meaning, and regurgitate them to make gullible people believe that real human scientists support these ridiculous bogus ideas like flat earth and anti-evolution.

My favourite part is where he pretty much describes a form of evolution that can be seen in action.. if two parents of different hair colours have a child, their child may have hair that is different to either parent. Or, in other words, the child will be a mild evolution from their parents. Also, see mixed-breeds of birds and dogs, or ligers as a very prominent example, being significantly larger than either lion or tiger parent. Not that any of that would be considerable as evidence of evolution at-all.

But seriously learning real Science makes the world even more amazing. I'm currently reading Neil Subin's book Your Inner Fish: A Journey into the 3.5-Billion-Year History of the Human Body; it is not to technical, the writing is very readable and it explains in a manor that someone with a minimal science background will have no problem understanding. Those of us that have a science background will find the content equally educational.

There are two kinds of people: people who know that evolution is real and people who don't understand evolution.

Try this as it has been my stance... Evolution is true except where it attempts to disprove Creation. When Evolution tries to disprove Creation it then must produce a base. As for me, I do not claim ignorance. I certainly believe in evolution except when it counterdicts God. Here I will give you the best reasoning possible to seek the One True God. First, Prophecy is proof of God. Claiming you cannot understand Prophecy is just another act of trying to use ignorance to prove intelligence. I am NOT trying to offend you! I am trying to educate you for your safety and the safety of people you care about. Please read Revelation Ch 13 and align it with Today and this COVID-19 perils. COVID-19 is not a name, it is a mathematical equasion and it's total is shown in Revelation Ch 13. Do not accept any vaccines for COVID-19 or any of its variants. The Mark of the Beast may have already been passed to people who accepted any Vaccines for COVID-19 or its variants. Can you prove that you were given a COVID-19 Vaccine from a vial and not a pre-filled syringe? Consider the abilities of Satan... Is it possible that these injections contained an RFID Chip much smaller than what we have been shown? Also, is it possible that no matter where an RFID Chip is injected, that this could be a Smart Chip that relicates itself into one's hand or forehead? Personally I do not really believe that current and past COVID-19 (and its variants) vaccinations contained an RFID Chip. However, I am just as certain, its coming. As these Variants develop the situation becomes more dire. They started right out of the gate with Identifiers for people who got Vaccinated and that progressed to Fake Vaccine cards. Israel emulated the same parameters displayed in Revelation Prophecy Ch 13. Soon the restrictions for those remaining un-vaxed will elevate to crimes and punishments for anti-vaxers. Notice the Vax promoters do not even slightly delve into COVID-19 and Prophecy. Everyone who receives the Mark of the Beast will go into perdition with the Beast. You must do diligent research into exactly what is going on and where it is going. Time is crucial and time is becoming more-so. If you want my help, just ask.

Dunning-Kurger at its finest. What's even more frustrating is how NOT mutually exclusive Religion and Science is. Nowhere does it say that Evolution denies God, and even the Genesis Creation story (if one wants to believe in it) says that life came from the seas, which sounds like Evolution to me. ... er, not that the Genesis Creation Story is in any way factual, as much as a Evolution can very easily fit into that belief system. ANYWAYS... Oh, here's another good one: Kent Hovind thinks "evolutionists" teach that we evolved from a rock... but he has no problem believing in the Genesis Creation story that explicitly states that God created Adam by breathing life into a pile of literal dirt. So... evolving from rocks is nonsense, but created from dirt isn't? I can't wrap my head around that one: if he has no issue with the latter, then surely the former would not violate his belief system, right??

He doesn't understand nor want to understand how evolution works. Once you have a bloodline, evolution is committed to that direction. It can divert and become something else. It can only produce more of what it is. What it can do is produce lots and lots of new versions of that creature. If you go backwards from cats and dogs, you eventually find their common ancestor that they shared. At one stage there was no difference. However, once a split happened, one line was committed to cats, the other to dogs. And eventually they became unable to have kids with each other. We cannot predict the future we can only draw lines in the past. You can only ever be the sum of your ancestors. This is how we ended up with our heads on backwards... In the past invertebrates has a common ancestor whose head was 90 degrees at an angle. To compensate, the body twisted over time 90 degrees in the other direction. So we all now have a head on backwards. 😅

Often they will respond with "All dogs look like dogs and are of the Dog kind (or the same with cats) so the checkmate here is to ask them to which "kind" does the Hyena belong? Because if we go based on how they look (similar to dogs) then they belong in the dog kind.. but Genetically we know they are more closely related to felines.. Good times...

Kent is many, many things but a "gent" is not one of them

He denies anything that shows he's wrong. Look at domesticated dogs looks completely different from a wolf yet that's where they came from.

'Dogs produce dogs' Pretty sure he would agree that dogs came from wolves 🤔

He needs to show how two wolves can produce a litter of Dascshunds.

Compare a Wolf to a Boston Terrier, humm

@@dogwalker666 Yeah i often use the Boston Terrier. With it's flat face it's more like a cat in that dept. Although it seems obvious, see if you can get a YEC to list the differences between a Boston Terrier and a cat. Not as easy as you think.
