I hate myself for this, but that's not a picture of the Atari 400. That's an Atari 400 mini. An emulation station. Again, maybe a correction would be good for a factual video..

The first 2600 was actually called the VCS (VIDEO COMPUTER SYSTEM) The 2600 was lighter and had four switches on the front, and a different shaped front edge, characterized by the wood effect and surrounding black parts being a different shape. This is why the new vcs is called the VCS. Confusing, I'm sure to people who are too young to know. It's a shame everyone calls the VCS the 2600, as the 2600 only really came to be because the 5200 was being launched. Better to get these things right when making an 'evolution' video that's meant to be factual.
