I bet not a lot of people know this but originally the biolizard was Maria’s pet but Gerald experimented on it and turn it into a mutant . It had the potential but Gerald didn’t care enough to take care of him he was the victim on the ark.

Although Shadow Gens is a lot more dynamic, fleshed out, and cinematic, god the original just has a certain quality to it that cannot be matched. I love how dark, eerie, and claustrophobic the fight feels. Those dark energy balls feel incredibly dangerous and that quick snappy burst sound they make is very satisfying.

The original also has my favorite version of the boss theme, it's eerie, atmospheric, disturbing, and a little funky. It communicates story that didn't see ( although I think the impact of the theme and the boss fight would have been strengthen with a past cut scene showing how sad the biolizard exist is and how dangerous, radioactive, and aggressive it is)

I think the original fight is still the best, darker and more difficult which befits the penultimate life form. The new fight is good too, but why doesn’t the song have its lyrics?! They got that right with What I’m Made Of for Metal Overlord

The beginning of Shadow Generations' remix and some of Shadow's lines of dialogue during the fight are very melancholic, showcasing that Shadow recognizes just how much pain the Biolizard has gone through and that he's basically giving the thing a mercy kill, but in the end, he also knows by now just how dangerous it can be, and everything else, from RichaadEB's guitar riffs to its new mutated arms showcase just that.

When you think about it, -Little Foot- The Biolizard suffered WAY more than Shadow, like, it was experimented on since it's birth, look all the crap and life support stuff he has on, and to top it all off, when it becomes the Final Hazard it gets stuck with the whole Ark up its bum, poor thing.

I dont think people understand how much joy it brings me that some stages and bosses from SG3ds is in SWGs (even if its overlapping themes im taking this as a nostalgia dub) nostalgia L is like green hill and the midget sonic nostalgia W is stuff they dont too often give credit too like how the "Run" button from lost world is the same as the "boost" button in the hedgehog 2 engine post forces
