Not gonna lie you kind worded it wrong, in 2014 the game used to be called Next Car game and there was a GoFund me for the game. In 2018 the game fully released with a name called WreckFest. The season 2 isn’t a new game it was a continent update with cars and it didn’t come out in 2023. Bugbear has sadly moved on to a new game (StuntFest was the name but it’s being renamed to Jected- Rivals) but it’s nothing at all like WreckFest, kinda like Onrush/ Destruction All Stars

Fair enough, I could've mentioned the timeline... And looking at my script right now, it says 2020 for the season 2, but my single brain cell read that as 2023 lmao. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll pin this :)

Have to correct you on one thing, Bugbear had nothing to do with Stuntfest World that recently got a name change to Jected- Rivals. Bugbear did release a alpha Stuntfest back in 2016 and we still waiting for a new update. Bugbear has been working on something new since the summer of 2021, but the Devs still tight lip on what it is. AKA Purple44

I met BugBear recently, I downloaded the two Flatout that came out for PS2 in AetherSX2 emulator for Android and I just loved the games. Soon after I found out that Wreckfest was out for Android, and now I'm finishing the game, it's just one of the very few AAA games that exist for mobile. I bought all the dlcs with great satisfaction.

Wow, it looks like I totally forgot that Sega Rally Revo was made by Bugbear as well. I had so much fun playing it back then. Lovin' these guys, I hope we'll see something big from them in years to come. FlatOut 1 is forever The Best for me, and Wreckfest is just as good & exciting to play.

Flatout 2. ABSOLUTE classic. driving physics, the cars, the adrenaline rush, the soundtrack. oh those were my childhood

Rally Trophy was part of a fad of vintage racing games on PC, Papyrus had big hits with Grand Prix Legends and NASCAR Legends, and there was a cancelled game about 60’s TransAm racing. So rally trophy focused on 60’s and 70’s rally racing, and it was more realistic than most other rally games of the time. Makes sense a Finnish studio would start with a great rally game.

No Driftopia, eh? Guess I can't blame you for not counting that one but despite all the hate it got I actually kind of enjoyed it and thought it had some really interesting concepts I've never seen in racing games before or since.

In 2024 they made Flatout Carnage Ultimate Collectors Edition. where they fixed a lot of bug, added new leanguages, and added wide screen, the game looks better than ever nobody probably say thats run on a 2008 game engine... 6:29 they released a beta of their game named next car game, and only in 2018 they released the Wreackfast, but my biggest problem there are no nitro on that game so its trash FUC is still better

Flatout 1 is definitely best, it has best car control and best tracks. Also good AI with no cheating. Others are big downgrade to me.

Nah, Flatout 1 car control are awful due of low grip physics and the AI are too simple, Flatout 2 and Ultimate Carnage have better physics and the AI was improved.

You forgot to mention that flatout 2(or flatout head on)is also available for psp..... It would have been great if they had added flatout head on(psp)camera in the cockpit
