I feel like GTA 4 had alot better "denting" mechanic, also scratching was superb compared to GTA V BUT... i fell like GTA V parts falling off the car made it look a bit better. Yes cars are stiff af, but parts falling off made up for it. That been said, i wish GTA 6 will combine GTA 4 car denting with GTA V part loosing and GTA Online car durability(Because it's different than in singleplayer, in gta online you can wreck your car and still drive like nothing happend, while in singleplayer car speed is affected by damage) There are some fixes that i want to see tho: Car roof should dent, making first person view less bearable(Camera rotation or twist imitating our character bending neck to avoid roof of the car) Cars shouldn't explode while landing wheels up. Car doors should be denting. In GTA 4 and GTA V there is no way you can damage car doors outside of loosing them or destroying glass. Windows on front and back should be more "durable". It's not easy to break front and back windows because they have layers and alot of glue. If you break front/back window it will be like shards of glass glued to transparent rubber. It still holds together fairy well, it will twist and bend but wont shatter like in GTA V(and it could give us in game mechanic to kick out broken window to see better. It's like breaking glass screen protector, some pices of glass will fall off but whole structure will mostly remain in it's shape.
