For anyone wondering, there is a GTA SA mod named Stars and Stripes that tries to add a full big US expansion (Like 6 times the map of San Andreas) and they added gator keys but the buildings of the city of gator keys is unfinished

GTA 4 was going to have a countryside location known as the Carraways, there are many hints in game and also a website in Gta 5 where we can invest in one of it's share through in game pcs and website Also in Gta SA, there was going to be an Alcatraz prison between SF and Tierra robada, you can actually see beta map in lil probe inn showing it's location

True very early in development for both games they were going to add things that they later decided to not add but GTA SA was closer to having Alcatraz than gta 4 was to having the Carraways but they decided to scrap the idea before the beta map testing because of hardware limitations at the time but if they ever make a GTA 4 remaster they should 100% add them into the game because it would be so dope to see

The Alcatraz statement simply isn't true, but is a popular rumor. It was never really planned and they never started development on it. The island you speak of was simply just an island off the coast. Vadim M covers this pretty thoroughly

Liberty City in San Andreas suppose to be based on GTA: Liberty City Stories map model because LCS took place in 6 years after SA events and 2 years before GTA 3. Some place in Liberty City 1992 was similar to GTA 3 like Luigi's place. In fact, San Andreas released in 2004 while LCS still in development before it released in 2005. That's why the developer copy and paste of unfinished GTA 3 map into San Andreas game.

Honestly, GTA 4 needed some forestation. There was almost no country part to GTA 4's Liberty City at all. The only bit I can think of is a sliver of forestry in Alderney, near the rich houses. It has a small dirt path that leads up to the abandoned mansion where Niko drops off a car for a mission and you can find the elusive Sultan RS. That's about the most forestry in the whole game, the rest is all city, which I like, but not having much in terms of nature was really disappointing. Countryside Mountains is pretty cool, albeit not perfect, because of what it fulfills that the map desperately needed.

That has been debunked. Sam Houser stated that they "haven't seen it" and weren't sure if they're gonna put it into the game. You can find some more info on it in Vadim M's latest video on GTA San Andreas

@ that’s because Guarma was originally supposed to be bigger but since the devs ran out of time 90% of the map was unrendered there was even supposed to be sharks there too the original map was supposed to be bigger than what we got what we got was a 1/2 of the mainland and what we were supposed to get was supposed to be half the size of the mainland

Red dead 2 also has Tempest Rim way up north, you can see it on the map and it’s even labeled but there is no way to access it without glitches and mods. Animals spawn up there and the horses are really good too.

I always had a feeling the Carraways were going to be in IV, but I remember at the time how many times IV was delayed, game stores all had marketing for IV with changing release dates for months before it finally released, because there’s no reason it wouldn’t have fit in the game or any technical issues they would have had. I think they just decided to cut it to finally get the game released.

3:29 Actually in the early plans for san andreas story, liberty city was meant to be used after saint marks bistro. Cj was supposed to fly to liberty City to find out where big smoke was hiding, but they abandoned that idea for some reason (gang wars if i had to guess)

HI, i don't think a lot people know about this but in GTA 3 one area in multiplayer that is removed was "The Sewers" this area had some special props that didn't appear in the game,one coffin aka Raided Tomb,gold bars in the bank vault and crate with TNT and wine racks,thx Grove Street Games for this 🤠👍 I will leave the link with the entire article and photos here:

Red dead redemption should be included. There's a unused map where west elizabeth on the opposite side where blackwater is. U can use a mod Nd go over there. Im guessing they wanted to include that and Valentine as well but they were cut i believe. I think they mention something like this. Not sure Edit: yea there was a original map when they develop the game how Valentine and New Hanover would look.

but the problem is we dont really start on the beginning when cjs mom was killed it was started when cj come back from liberty after finding out his mom death which is sad too because including he has a brother but it will be good idea if theres gta san Andreas we will see what happens to cj family and why sweet is only by himself and also why he leaved out but the problem is it all going to be longer to make and the missions are gonna increase making the game boring

They already had all their resources dedicated to GTA IV and RDR not long after VCS came out, and they already got hit with delays a bunch of times with IV, and had a lot of technical issues with RDR, so by the time they were done with, they were working on V. I think eventually, by the time they could dedicate a whole team to it, it was too late to release another last gen game on a died/dying console, especially considering all the organisation needed with writing, voice actors, etc.

It's called clickbate. Atleast, VC's "Gator Keys", the only we knew about it's a part of dialog, it's not mentioned on old beta-map of VC, and on video we see just mod which not represent real "cut" stuff. Same with GTA4.
