22:20 I only noticed thanks to TV Tropes, but with the original Paper Mario trilogy, the final bosses in order were Bowser->Peach->Luigi. If Paper Mario 4 had Mario end up the final boss (even if a clone), it'd have come full circle... yet the closest we got was Dreamy Mario... as an early boss in Dream Team... would've been neat to see in the PM series though.

Ngl, the ttyd mario was best executed in terms of story, it was a real twist, my ONLY wish was that the fake mario did EVERYTHING Mario can. Fake mario (im calling him this for spoilers btw) only jumps and hammers, but i wish he could also get stylish inputs, guard, superguard, use items, switch partners freely rather thaj only when one dies, use partners' full moveset, and hell, maybe even use some badge moves or special moves
