Rare didn't go into obscurity though, they're still making games today like Sea of Thieves, plus even under Microsoft, Rare still made some memorable games like Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Kameo and Viva Pinata, plus Microsoft allowed Banjo-Kazooie to be in Smash Ultimate So no, Rare is not dead, they may not be as good as when you were a kid but they're not dead

The sequel could have the plot of Conker hating his job as king and when his men discover a random new continent he decides to join an expedition to actually jump of when they sail back home but somehow this ends up starting a search and later war with the new place. Rest is just bullshit and random stuff as usual. That that fake Conker game looks amazing. I love the detailed yet simple and colorful style, a perfect blend. The thought of a Rayman 2 and 3 reboot, remake or HD in that style makes me drool and orgasm from awesomeness. Imagine. The night filled woods in Rayman 3 in updated graphics. That light, those awesome looking environments and the aesthetic with updated music quality "if that was even possible". It would me amazing. I demand a whole new development team dedicated to taking old platformers into that great art style alone, Psychonats would be mind blowing!

The sequel was in the making, it was called Conkers Other Bad Fur Day. Chris Seavor had the whole the story written and finished. Microsoft wanted them to remake the original instead of making a sequel. After the remake was made rare wanted to wait till the 360 came out because it was towards the end of the original Xbox’s life cycle and they didn’t want to sell poorly. They never got around to making the sequel unfortunately

I wish they finished Twelve Tales: Conker 64. That looked amazing. Rare should've ignored all the criticism they got for it being "Just another cutesy platformer" like Banjo-Kazooie.
