Matias Flores In theory, they did the bosses right. I always found them to be either way too easy, or unreasonably difficult. However, the bosses did change throughout the fight, forcing you to adapt to new strategies, which is nice. Keeps the fight fresh, which is how a boss fight should be. They were all unique from one another, never just hit it till it dies. In theory, they did them right.

they wanted to do warped-bis, while being a different studio altogheder. that, and halfway trough they realized that they would not being able to, with most levels being too big and empty, with the story being too weack (originally, crunch was supposed to be mind-controlled trough the whole thing). coupled with the idiotic idea to use regular cd instead of DVD-ROM, which quadruplicated, if not more, the time required to load anything, what a terrible result. I like the game, but I haven't touch it in years because i flat out don't have the time to wait 20 minutes for every 10 of playing

People exaggerate the load times in that game, they were long sure, too long, but they never stopped the game being fun for me, I dont remember waiting around long enough to notice it. It certainly isn't a reason on its own to dislike the game. And you cant really say that all the bosses were remotely the same given that it was technically the elementals controlling Crunch in wildly different iterations. I would have preferred if they had Tropy and Dingodile etc. but the bosses weren't all the same by any means.

the ps2 times where pretty bad. 15 minutes from the moment you inserted the diskto selecting the second level, and later levels were definetivelly longer than the average.if you could play fro an hour or 2, it was good, but if you had less, you just popped in jack and dexter games

serPomiz Two levels in 15 minutes isn't all that bad unless you want to speedrun or something...Hell, even just one from the moment you inserted the disc. It's certainly not quick but it's not remarkably awful, just "huh, these loading screens are kind of long, meh oh well." Bearing in mind, i was a child which means I was impatient and didn't understand why they didn't just get rid of loading screens in all games, and I never thought Wrath of Cortex's were spectacularly too long, I'd have turned it off and played Warped instead if the game spent a minute loading every time, and I don't remember ever thinking that. Possibly nostalgia but I remember the things I hated just as well (like that uncanny valley 3D life /health icon really creeped me out) so I doubt it. Looking at them now on unedited playthroughs, they are too long, but minutes at a time? Almost never. That would have ruined it for me as a kid.

Fun fact about the Mecha-Bandicoot Phase: if you jump at the right time as he fires the green laser blast, you can cause N. Gin to shoot at you in the air as you fall down, dodging the hit and causing his laser blast to get caught in the invisible boundary around the arena and hang in the air for a while. As long as the blast doesn’t touch anything solid, the blast won’t despawn. You can do this as many times as you want and get a ton of these green laser blasts hanging in the arena. Not only that, but you can still return these blasts and interrupt phases of Mecha-Bandicoot’s attacks as he does them, since they’re still in a state where you can spin them into Mecha-Bandicoot.

Another funny Twinsanity fact is that if you enter any cutscene with a character looking in any direction using the right-analog stick (the stick that you use to control your camera,) that character will enter the cutscene with their neck being tilted at a funny angle. When they move their head in the cutscene, this can get you really funny effects like Cortex’s head rotating 270 degrees or Crash tilting his head back to where it’s backwards and upside down.
