It’s fascinating how the TT model carried 1ton, and now we have a vehicle twice the size with half the capacity and infinitely more technology. Same with ‘70s vehicles, they all seemed to carry more, with less. Love my 75th anniversary F-150 💪🏻

It's especially telling that the 80s Toyotas could hold 2000lbs of cargo in the bed and modern trucks of the same size can't.

The modern f-150 isnt a cargo vehicle, its an oversized passenger hauler. The older models are in fact, where it's at.

Amongst the modern generations, the 10th and 12th gens look the best because they have some sporty styling (like the svt raptor) into the truck outside while the 11th gen that's in-between is average. However, the 13th and 14th gens look awful with their commercial-oriented exteriors. I mean yes, the straight lines in the lights & sides, upright fenders and the squareness of the front do fit on a pickup truck but they try to emphasize on those too much they make the truck a bit ugly as a result. I'd give it a pass if they're for the 250 series and above which many guys would use as workhorses for towing or hauling after all. But the others today buy the 150 for lifestyle purposes that i think having some little streamlined design cues would be a good welcome.
