Man seeing people automatically say the old Godzilla movies are bad just cause of the special effects makes me so glad I grew up on older movies. Like I can understand it being a little difficult to believe but some of the best movies aren't the ones from the monsterverse at least in my opinion. If you can just get over the effects not being state-of-the-art Hollywood CGI then I guarantee you'll find yourself loving films like Godzilla vs mechgodzilla, Godzilla final wars, and Godzilla vs biollante.

Well, some of it probably was state of the art Japanese cinema style while also being cost effective. I remember watching a video that certain films didn't do as well, so they tried to end the franchise. But each time they attempted, they'd get a new pop and restart again. I'm a 90s kid but grew up on the showa series. Vs mechagzilla is the only one I own, and it's on vhs.

My favorite films are always from the Heisei era. There, Godzilla gradually develops and even knows how to show emotions, such as crying. This era includes the films Godzilla 1984, Godzilla vs. Biollante (she is not actually a sister, but an incomplete clone. there is the soul of a person, so it would be wrong to call the girl Godzilla's sister), Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah 1991, Godzilla vs. Mothra 1992, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla 2 1993, Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla 1994 and Godzilla vs. Destoroyah 1995 and all these films areextensions of each other. Films of this era are the most emotional. Also, Godzilla is neither evil nor kind here

From 1954 to 2004, every Japanese Godzilla movie was done with suits. Pretty impressive how they managed to still make these great movies in the 90’s and 2000’s considering the fact that was a time of almost pure CGI.

Okay Capi, what you know about the VFX in Godzilla franchise is that, since most Godzilla movies are Japanese and they portrayed kaiju as a suit while you were expecting about 1998 when the VFX looks better it's because it's their first American Godzilla movie, which is why CGI looks good to you while the rest of them in the past of Godzilla franchise, they all wearing a suit in Showa and Heisei era as well

Wait a Minute, he didn't include GMK from 2001 (Godzilla - Mothra - King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All out Attack), which to me, is by far the most Deep and Epic movie from the Millenium Era, a Godzilla that is Totally Evil and mostly a Ghost, a Ghidorah who is the Last Hope of Humankind and the world, and how terryfing Godzilla can be, as the Main Villain and how Humankind can't face their Mistakes without Help. Which, spoiler, The godzilla of that Movie is a Mix between the anger soul of the Original one, and all the Lost souls of People who Die in WWII. A Ghost who will never Rest, because he's on a Permanent Bloodrage, and seeking for Vengance...........no matter who are you, what have you done in life, or where you are..........he will find you..........and obliterate you......

I don't care for how gzilla looks in that. Almost looks more like a string puppet than a suit. I like the idea of gzilla and ghidorah role switch for fun, but not the looks. Though I can imagine a family guy skit where the 2 are actually friends or a married couple. Would make for a good laugh.

Capi my boy I'm pretty sure when. Destroya comes back. It's probably going to be one of the final movies for this Godzilla in particular because he's going to be the final boss tier for Godzilla because he would be regarded as probably as Godzilla's greatest and most powerful foe that he has ever faced. So I wouldn't even not be surprised if they bring destroya up back as the final villain or boss for the king of a monsters. Now where they go with Godzilla after that I have no freaking clue

Already a problem with the video. So many problems in fact. It skipped 1955's Godzilla Raids Again, the film that started the trope of Godzilla fighting other monsters. While King Kong vs Godzilla is entertaining, neither monster wins. They fought to a draw. The title is Mothra vs Godzilla. It is not about climate. A giant egg washes ashore and Godzilla is drawn to it. the vid skipped 1964's Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster and 1965's Invasion of Astro Monster. The 1966 film is called Ebirah Horror of the Deep The vid skipped 1968's Destroy All Monsters, the films that was originally supposed to end the franchise and 1969's All Monsters Attack, otherwise known as Godzilla's Revenge The vid skipped 1973's Godzilla vs Megalon and 1974's Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla. What is happening? Biollante is NOT Godzilla's sister. They are both made from the same cells, making Biollante a clone. Another trope in the franchise. The 1992 film is NOT called Mothra vs Godzilla. This is the one that is titled Godzilla vs Mothra. Plus, the American version of the title is worse: Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle for Earth. The narrator mixed up the plot. The 1964 film involves greedy businessmen while the 1992 film revolves around climate change The video skipped 2001's GMK! This video is getting so much wrong! The vid skipped the Anime trilogy, though if you skip it, you aren't missing much Wow! Whoever made the evolution video needs to check their notes. Plus, suitimation was revolutionary back in the day. The original Gojira was to have its monster portrayed with stop motion but was deemed too expensive, so suits were used since these films had low budgets.
