Sure someone’s mentioned this, but Cyber Godzilla (or Cyber-Zilla) was a thing in Junior’s show. Basically some aliens turned the original Zilla into a cyborg zombie and forced him to fight Junior. Junior didn’t want to fight him because he recognized his parent, but eventually did fight back and win.
