Fun Fact: it's pronounced "Covenant" not "Con-venent" Halo was originally an rts that was a sci-fi version of bungie's previous game "Myth". They then decided to make it a third person shooter that was for "ONLY MAC", Microsoft bought bungie and had them make it into an fps for the Xbox Halo 2 was surprisingly not received super well at release because of the arbiter take up screen time from the masterchief The deal for bungie to go independent was to make 2 more halo games, and give the rights of the franchise to Microsoft Halo CE Anniversary was badly received because of how much the "better graphics" deviated from the original art style of Combat Evolved Halo MCC released with only 1, 2, 3, and 4, and all of the games were so badly broken that they were unplayable. All of the major bugs were fixed and ODST was added shortly after as a sort of apology for how horrible the launch was, the game was then neglected for 4 years until it got a gigantic overhaul in 2018 that fixed and enhanced everything, Halo reach was added in late 2019, and all the games were released in order 1 by 1 to PC Halo 5 and Spartan strike were both 2015, not 2014, it's pronounced "Osiris" not "Oseeris". Halo 5's reception was mixed across the board, not just the campaign Halo wars 2 was received fairly well mostly thanks to fixing the art style Halo Infinite is not "the third chapter in the reclaimmer saga", it's a soft reboot and new starting point Why do these channels have to not only try to ride off the hype of highly anticipated games, but then get alot of the info wrong? If you ever want to make these videos, either fact check with people that actually know, or just leave it to the fans because we'll be meticulously accurate

The community then came up with the idea to stay as long as possible in matchmaking, even getting Bungie to push the server shutoff date to May. The Noble 14 were the last 14 players online on Halo 2 before they shut down the Online servers down. They each were disconnected one by one until there was no one left. Bungie thought it was so honorable, they nicknamed those 14 players “Noble 14” and gave them Beta passes to Halo Reach. It’s a pretty cool story.

You got multiple facts wrong here, namely the dates of release. Spartan Assault was released in 2013. Spartan Strike was released in 2015, as was Halo 5 Guardians. And the MCC did not launch with all six games, it was originally intended to be a compilation of Master Chief's stories (which you yourself stated but for some reason included Reach and ODST as if they were in the initial release) which only meant Halos CE-4. ODST and Reach were added in more recently.

Halo CE was truly groundbreaking at it's release. From it's mechanics, AI, story, it was ahead of it's time. Coming from Goldeneye N64 as the best shooter for years, then CE.. there was no comparison between the two. It's easy to see why Halo was so successful and the formula that made it so great is the core of every FPS today.

CE was my first in depth experience with a FPS and it was love at first sight. It was revolutionary. I had played quake and goldeneye before it but not nearly as much. Halo was just better. Halo 2 was great, but Halo 3 was peak gaming

Fun fact: he forgot to mention Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal. When considering which next gen console I should get, I went for the PS5 when it dawned on me Sony had the new Doom games, which basically made Xbox obsolete in my decision making. Kinda sad, but you don't really NEED Halo anymore. Doom is basically a copy/paste updated version of Halo (the circle of life) which of course is ironic, because at one point the same could be said of Halo-Doom.

My favourite game is Halo 4 and I like the part when Master Chief takes down the Didact boss , also I like Halo 3 because I like the part when Master Chief and Arbiter track down the prophet of Truth on the covenant mission.

I loved every halo, with halo 4 being the best in my opinion. Halo 5 was also very good but it was a little too much going on. I don’t like infinite, the story is chaotic and it doesn’t grab you like the previous titles did

I remember i was 10 years old. An over night Underground XBOX Lan/Hooking them up together so there was 20v20... Or 18v18... Me an my cousin brandon spent about a 100$ of my uncles cash because he knew making those memories because online wouldnt come for almost 6months. They sent all the stores cease&desists an just like that, this little gem still pulls on my string we got a taste of the future while they didnt have it. The guys who ran the stores were awesome an they just sat in the back sometimes showing us nice little tricks. The first sniper to have a bullet that ricocheted off the ground. Ooh man my old 30 year old ass sits here playing as i type reliving my past.... GGz my newbies an OGz

Not including halo infinite caused I didn’t finish the game yet (my personal opinion) 1) Halo reach ( simply how they advertise it and the multiplayer was the best for me) 2) halo 3 (I legit sprint home once this game came out and my mom laid it on my bed) 3) halo combat evolved (classic) 4) halo 2 (just loved the fact you can play as an elite and I started to like the character even more) 5) halo odst (I would of ranked it 4th but halo 2 just so more iconic) tbh I think this game is overheated and underrated 6) halo 4 7) halo 5 Never played halo wars but if I did I’m sure it would be rank 7 8 and halo 5 last

Bungie created Halo which Halo was king. Once 343 took over. Halo stooped down. Halo Infinite is legit the worst Halo ever. Speaking for actual real technical issues with Infinite. The coding is terrible. The net coding is horrendous. The concept is great. The old school feel is great. But it don't matter though wjen lazy developers create bad coding which is what makes the game. The evolution of Halo went down hill the moment 343 wanted to use what Bungie created to farm us all for money. Dead 😵

They really messed up by not having split screen in halo 5. Only reasons I considered getting an Xbox one was playing the first 2 online & halo 5. If I can't play coop split screen with my kid there's no point.

Halo is not relevant 20 years after the first game. It started to become irrelevant back in 2012 when halo 4 released. It was not the game most halo fans wanted. Not only that it introduced a new artstyle that no one wanted. Then halo 5 came, without splitscreen and a horrible campaign with horrible writing. Oh yeah halo 5 splitscreen was promised by 343, a promise they broke. The same goes for halo infinite when they cancelled splitscreen for that game aswell. The multiplayer was fine, it was somewhat fun compared to the halo 5 campaign! Halo infinite was a third failure in a row for 343. They ruined halo, maybe halo should have just ended with halo reach. Hopefully now with major changes within 343 industries, we might get a decent game if the next title ever releases!

I just got Halo infinite idk if my mom is happy since she hates shooting games even though I’m 14, what ever, it’s a lot of fun, I’m still getting the hang of it since I’m not much good at console shooting games, I prefer PC.
