my favorite aspect to all of this is how it shows that master chief (the guy who always is dressed up as him) is so resilient to wearing his suit compared to others who get winded after 2-3 hours of wearing these bulky spartan armor suits

It’s very possible it has a clip in it, like a bike or motorbike helmet, which lets it be kept on and is likely the reason they’d allow master chief to go into the skydiving thing.

I go to many renn faires, especially since my parents always have a shop at the local one, and I always go in a plague doctor costume, which has many layers and belts that I wear around my waist and across my chest, along with furs sometimes draped over my shoulder. Then of course the mask itself, which had a horrible time fogging up in the lenses. I'd wear that for a good 9-10 hours a day in humid and hot weather, and it by the end of it when you finally peel yourself out of the costume you feel so free. Can't imagine how it'd feel coming out of such a restrictive costume after such a lengthy time.
