The original sound effects with those crescent waves that just paralyze the opponent and cause them to shake are my favorite. I liked that it was just kind of a strange out-of-the-ordinary effect. It struck me as more creative than just a gust of air. The flailing the arms in MK9 looked so clownish lol.

Honestly, mk9 had good special move affects. I like her fan toss and how her fans look in general in that game. Mk11 looks amazing, but some of the effects don't look as cool as they did in previous games(kitana's moves especially)
