I have only played door to phantomile and intend to play klonoa 2, but the 2008 version looks like a reboot or hd remake of the original, but his voice is too deep 😫

It's a remake to Door To Phantomile, and yep, his voice has changed haha but the game allows you to change it back to it's original, so, it being A LOT prettier than the original game, I would recommend you to play it when you can. It sure is a enjoyable gameplay. Also, you should hurry and play Klonoa 2 already, that game is a great sequel too.

Klonoa sounded like Chip/Light Gaia from Sonic Unleashed, but I have a feeling that his voice actor, Eric Stitt, would reprise his role in the upcoming game, Klonoa Phantasy Reverie

@@minasegazi4000 I meant when he plays Wii again for an updated evolution video. The english dub in Klonoa Wii is so bad. Also, DtP HD is totally Klonoa Wii with new textures and character models. Just look at a comparison, the environments match down to the polygon.

@@DarkLink1996. if the wii version did anything right, it was recreate the levels. I'd say they pulled the levels from the wii to save time, and redid everything else. Hell, I dont even think they rerecorded anything, the voice bites sound terrible, like some one held a mic up to a psx to record them. Mind you, that's how they originally sounded on them original.

Huh, as someone who just finished the Phantasy Reverie Series remake (they were amazing by the way!) and never knew about Klonoa before that, I never knew Klonoa had a remake in 2008 which was just a more updated Door to Phantomile. Very interesting.
