Lamborghini Countach evolution (1974-2022) from the first generation to the current generation mid-engine hybrid sports cars.
The Lamborghini Countach conceptualized sharp angles and sleek lines. Designed by Marcello Gandini, this visionary blueprint was originally introduced as the design for the Lancia Stratos Zero concept car. Equipped with scissor doors, a cab-forward layout, and a powerful V12 engine, the Lamborghini Countach was produced until 1990. With a total production number of almost 2000 units, the Countach remained in high demand for nearly two decades. In that time it got many upgrades and improvements all the way to the final Anniversary Edition car that ran from 1988 to 1990. The 2022 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is a mid-engine hybrid-electric sports car produced by the Italian automotive manufacturer Lamborghini. Unveiled on 14 August 2021, the car is named after the original Countach which was first introduced 50 years prior. Based on the Sián FKP 37, 112 units are planned to be produced, the number referencing the LP 112 model designation used during the development of the original Countach.

It's likely because of the added weight. The first version was almost as light as the still MIGHTY McLaren F1 👍👍

Everyone is raving about the new Countach… I don’t see it… Older ones are way cooler for looks. Secondly, I could buy 5 Aventadors ( way cooler ) for the asking price.
