@@antonionatalvenancio6131 Majora is canonically a child though, which was turned into a Mask when the Giants sung the Song of Healing which heals troubled souls. The child found peace, but it seems that the Mask contained it’s wrath and some malevolent wishes… Wishes strong enough to bring the whole Moon down to destroy Termina.

Majoras fight is probably among my favourite Zelda final bosses, mainly because of how hard it was because I was a stupid kid who didn’t have any sword, or great fairy upgrades so I was forced to get good at this fight, it was agonising, but so satisfying to finally pull of a win after struggling through the game.

The fact that Lynels are Ganondorf’s highest ranking troops, and Majora’s Mask is found banished deep within the depths of Hyrule guarded by *FOUR* very powerful Lynels, means that even Ganondorf is afraid of Majora’s power.

I feel like majora is more like a twisted joker than a true force of evil. When it used a random guy as a puppet, it act like a troublesome kid who loves to create chaos around it. When we fight it, his voice remind more of a kid and his attitude is mocking like (he's running around, ballerina dancing, throwing things at you,etc...).

For real. Like, who _is_ Majora? Did they create the mask or was it made in their likeness? Or neither? God, so many unanswered questions. The only thing we know about the mask is that it was used in ancient hexing rituals, and that begs even more questions. (The Manga isn't canon, before anyone references it)

@@drascia if I remember correctly some of that get's explained in some of the guidebooks? although I may just be remembering the manga. regardless the fact that it emits power enough to essentially turn the mask salesman (just a regular shopkeep in hyrule) into an insane guy that strangles 14 year olds is enough to warrent more story surrounding it.

Nothing I've found in the Canon lore - though I might not have looked deep enough - seems to even imply who Majora may be, and we know next to nothing about the ancient tribe. Majora's Incarnation has a lot of mystery surrounding it as well. Is it an incarnation in terms of being a corporeal form of a deity, or an incarnation as in a physical manifestation of the mask's evil power? It feels like the latter to me, because the mask is the Incarnation's body rather than its face. I'm also curious about its use in hexing rituals. Was it worn by those who did the hexing, like a shaman? Or was it worn by the victims as a torture device like the All-Night Mask was?

True. Although I feel like Majora lorewise is imbued with the hatred and desire to take revenge on just the land of Termina, for banishing it from that land when they were still a child (before they were turned into a mask). It seems to be implied that a person’s last wishes are imbued into their Mask, and I feel like Majora’s hatred ran so deep that it survived for thousands of years.. And might have caused even the Happy Mask Salesman to bring it to Termina in order to finally destroy it.

5:25 Interesting to note the text states that The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask game was in a different dimension. I remember the Game Theory making a video on it. It didn't make sense how link was lost in the woods, fell in a tree, and came out into a whole new world. So it's essentially confirmed that that world was created by the Mask itself. Pretty crazy!

Majora's Mask did not create Termina. Game Theory is unreliable. In the Official Lore, it was stated that Goddesses Din, Farore and Nayru, while creating the world, Termina manifested itself spontaneously, much to the surprise of the Goddesses.

Majora's Mask is one of my all time favorite titular Villains(and the game as well). While Ganon/Ganondorf is in it for the power of the Triforce and wanting to take over Hyrule, Majora isn't like that. Majora wants to see others suffer in pain and want them to live a painful and hellish life as soon a possible. While Ganondorf takes over Hyrule in after a few years, Majora's Mask can destroy Termina in under 3 FREAKIN DAYS! Even though the Ganon fights are cool and all, I prefer Majora's boss fight and its 3 phases, especially Majora's Incarnation because of how silly and crazy it is. My favorite thing about Majora is that it has the ability to possess its wearer, like the Skull Kid for an example, and also make the the wearer's voice more echoey, which is also something the mask did to Skull Kid. I really hope Majora makes more appearances in future Zelda games, instead of being an easter egg. Hee, hee.

I hate how Nintendo just started treating Termina as a separate Dimension to Hyrule or even created by Majora's Mask entirely, it takes alot of the meaning of the game away by saying it was all created in maybe a day or so and vanishes when Link saves it legit sucks lore wise, it made playing the game for it's lore pointless because either way everyone in that world ceases to exist and in a sense dies whether you save them from the moon or not, they either all vanish during the moon hitting them or after they have a festival either way all of what we did was meaningless. They say there's a portal to Clock Town through the Lost Woods where anyone can travel between and they try to use this to explain why Link got there, here's an idea; since Link has already teleported many times before through dungeons and Nayru's love even lets say There was a portal there created by the Mask like the Lore says but instead of it all being a alt realm have it be another Continent on whatever planet they live on, it would expand the story's Lore to have different lands having their own religions and have them possible interact, Termina worships the 4 giants while Hyrule worships Hylia, ive seen theories on Ikana was at war with Hyrule, the made platforms with an image of a guy licking the Triforce for a way to disrespect them, The Kingdom had to fall in some way which would be during a war, and the Stone Tower could have been built to reach the gods above with the Giant's Mask being their way of matching them in combat, I always though of connecting Ikana Canyon to the Gerudo Desert because Twinmold's boss battle takes place in the only Desert in Termina tho another Portal is involved, i went on a long rant but seeing Nintendo want us to either forget Majora's Mask or discredit it's existence makes me mad, yeah they reuse Npcs from OoT but thats the only reason why the rest of this retcon was made honestly
