I wish Waluigi pinball was in Mario kart Wii and Mario kart 8 deluxe but it's only in Mario kart DS and Mario kart 7. I got the virtual console of MKDS mainly to play Waluigi pinball and to see how good the game is and it's pretty okay except for few things here and there

the ds tracks that has not be recreated are: figure 8 circuit, shroom ridge, mario circuit ds, bowser castle ds and rainbow road ds. That means that they have recreated a lot of ds tracks. wow.

Honestly, even though the graphics weren't the greatest and there are a few issues with proportions, I like the DS versions a lot more that the recreations because the tracks are very colorful, unlike MK7 and the Wii version where they both lack color pigmentation in comparison

Marcoxfenty I think it’s because wii has a generally darker colour range as opposed to DS where the colours are bright and pop out more making people think the DS version is more colourful even though it isn’t

Mariokart DS is one of my favorite games in the series. I have a ton of memories with playing it on field trips in elementary school. Two problems with it: 1) player 1 tyranny (player 1 always chooses courses, no questions asked), and 2) with game cards < players, you could only do mushroom and shell courses.

Mario Kart DS was the first game of the series I owned. I prefer the DS version to the newer ones when it comes to being shot out of cannons (Waluigi Pinball and Airship Fortress). It looks SO much cooler to be shot through without any gliders! Especially in Waluigi Pinball - That first shot through the colourful tube made me go "WOW" out loud and the people in the Starbucks looked at me funny. Nice memory.
