I'm not going to lie, I miss how expressive Meta Knight was in the GBA-DS era. The way he glared at you before leaving, and the way his cloak swirled around him... Nowadays, he JUST looks surprised. No emotion in his eyes whatsoever.

I completely agree! I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s thought that. Meta Knight has always been portrayed as this serious and controlled character, and that reflections in his design. The mask really builds on that almost emotionless, threatening aura he gives. When beating him in older titles, breaking his mask was in a way rewarding, because seeing him, even if only for a second, actually express himself through either his frustration to help show he’s got more of a temper and is not as calm and collected as you’d think, or his shocked/embarrassed to help insinuate that maybe he’s not as confident in his appearance as he’d like to be, really gave you the idea that he’s more than just this unfeeling obstacle in your way. Nowadays, it’s difficult to build on that aspect when his face looks just as stagnant as it did with the mask on. I’m interested to see if they will change this in future titles. Or maybe even give him more body language or expressiveness through his eyes to help give him a bit more character.

I think Kirby just hits way harder than the mask is designed to withstand, hence why it always breaks in battles between MK and Kirby. 'Cause Kirby alone is powerful enough to slay literal eldritch gods by just inhaling things and spitting them back out. Against an opponent like that, armor of any kind would break eventually.

The anime explains that the inhaling and copy abilities are Kirby's own powers. It wouldn't be impossible for that to be the same in games, like how Meta or Galacta Knight got powers that Kirby hasn't

Despite the awful plot, squeak squad's (mouse attack for people who played EU) has to be my favourite. I like how it goes from meta knight realising the fact his mask just broke so he's processing it and like the other GBA/DS kirby games he then glares at kirby. Afterwards he swirls his cape around him but squeak squad having it swirl the dust too adds to the coolness of it. I honestly have much preferred meta knight's mask breaking in the older titles than newer ones where he just looks soulless

1) Meta Knight was written differently in the anime VS the games. He was given a proper backstory and overarching motives that are slowly revealed throughout the show. In the games, much of his life has never been shown; all that is known about MK is what is presented and/or implied. 2) That would have been too much development for a supporting character. As cool as anime Meta Knight is, he isn't the star of the show - Kirby is. Bringing MK's in-game abilities into the anime would have made things unnecessarily complicated and would have taken much of the focus off Kirby.

Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us into His image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. We cannot purify ourselves, but Christ lived that perfect sinless, pure life and then allotted it to our "account". That's where our righteousness comes from. Not from any good, works that you or I could do. It is not based on the amount of good works we do. God starts the changes, He carries it on, and He completes it in those who let Him. It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him, again, through His power and instruction). He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if YOU had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, forgiveness, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way. NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER If you have any questions let me know
