I would have liked if they had looked up the properties of obsidian though and how it's different from normal rock. Obsidian is natural glass created in the heat of volcanoes and it has most of the same properties as man made glass. However when it breaks it forms some of the sharpest edges possible, far sharper than any metal blade could ever be.
