They’re transitions are masterful. That’s why they’ve won THREE Grammys. 2 for their arrangements and 1 for performance. They worked really hard on this and I think Michael would be proud. This is quite a few years old so it was the original group. The only person who left was the bass, Avi Kaplan (on the left) back in 2017. He was replaced by Matt Sallee everyone else are the originals from 2011

That IS the original 5. The singers have known each other since school days, 2 of them since elementary school. The bass was introduced to them by a mutual friend, and the beat boxer they found on KZbin playing the cello and beat boxing. And the bass and beat boxer became best friends, and when the old bass left the group, he helped find the new bass. And now all 6 are filthy rich!!!

Awesome reaction! This is the original 5. Matt took over the bass after Avi{the one with the beard} left. Scott, Mitch, and Kirstin grew up together. They wanted to be a part of the show The Sing off but they needed at least 5. They found Avi through a friend and they found Kevin from his Cello boxing video on KZbin and as the say the rest is history. Kevin not only beat boxes but plays cello, speaks mandarin and graduated Pre med. They are all (including Matt) extremley talented. Avi actually helped find Matt before leaving the group.

Monroe, I felt that omg!😭 So right look at how they honor you now Mike! 🥺🙏🏽❤️👑 They’re amazing and I love all their work! And yes they’re friends! Scott (the tall blonde guy) and Mitch (next to Scott on the left) even have a own YT channel called Superfruit!

The Pentatonix's are so talented its crazy, and yeah that is the original group. Also you should try the Try Not to Sing or Dance Challenge Michael Jackson Edition. It is so hard! Love the video btw. xx
