To be fair Wario's "gross" aspect is mostly accentuated in Smash games and some character descriptions, outside of that like the Wario Land games for example, he's mostly a treasure hunter and kind of a strongman that doesn't mind helping people out if that means he gets more treasure, in that way he's a pretty cool character imo so i don't think it is that weird that Mona thinks the same lol.

Fun Theory: if you look at one of the pictures in Mona’s Room on the Right you’ll see what looks like Luigi and Daisy (The Parents) and Mona (The Daughter), the clock in her room has the hands in the shape of an L (is real), also back this up even further Mona lives in a Mansion, well if you clear Luigi’s Mansion and get the B Rank Mansion you’ll see it looks strikingly similar to Mona’s Mansion. When you know everyone's age, this theory is not as fun as you would think. Also, saying that Mona's mom looks like Daisy is a bit of a stretch. Daisy is a brunette, while Mona's mom (and Mona herself) is a redhead. And the clock, it just says that it's 3 pm (that or 12:15), meaning Mona was away only for a few hours, at least an hour and a half (or a few hours longer if it's 12:15).

First, I have no doubt in the notion that Mona is indeed adorable, at least according to her fans. And I’ve had a long history with Mona over the years of my gaming life. Her original “strange” demeanor made me think of her as-embarrassingly enough-a bit of a villain, as well as Princess Peach’s rival as Wario is to Mario. (She was replaced by Terrormisu as Peach’s rival, with Mona herself now being one of Peach’s best friends, and, although she has indeed redeemed herself, now I understand that she does indeed have a pinch of villainy-she once got a criminal record after a run-in with the police in the original WarioWare game.) In fact, on my Minecraft world, the original Java Edition Tinyland, her house in it consisted of, you guessed it, strange mechanics and devices. But time passed, and I eventually got a hold of WarioWare D.I.Y. As more time passed, I began to understand that Mona was one of those characters that although had the demeanor of an adult, her high school status was what made her truly unique among the rest, a truly lovable person out there along with the rest. That was all leading up to this video. My quest is over. I know this wasn’t a lot, but that was all I could think of. P.S. I’ve always dreamed of Mona and the rest of the WarioWare characters entering into Mario’s world. Anyone who agrees with me, say so in the replies below. You’re welcome. P.P.S. Also, in my eyes, without a canon for Mario itself, Wario ends up with Mona in love, and so is Waluigi (or as I might call, Ruigi) to Ashley. I can only imagine.
