Evolution of Nemo ending | 2012 to 2020

A selection of clips from 2012 to 2020 showcasing the evolution of the ending of Nemo as performed by Nightwish since Floor has joined.
A few weeks ago, @Branislav Fx commented on my previous video for Ghost Love Score's ending asking if I would be interested in doing the same for Nemo. My curiosity was immediately taken, and I just had to do it. I hope you'll find this as interesting as I did! 🤘

Loved how through most of the 2018 shows, you can see Empu pointing at Troy and mouthing the words "my job" with a sad face at the crowd. That dude always cheers me up.

Agreed! I love how in some songs they incorporate little bits that are either just for themselves to enjoy or for the benefit of the crowd. Entertainers through and through!

So happy you enjoyed it! I don't know if I'll make others as those are the two most notable ones as far as I know, but I may have plans for something a bit different someday soon :) If you have specific songs in mind though I'm happy to consider them!

Bloody hell this was good. It made my day.... Floor is absolutely majestic and I love the way she keeps working on the endings of songs. Just when you think you have heard her sing the perfect ending she comes along and makes the perfect ending even more perfect as if that's possible but that's what she does she's magical and enchanting. Well my suggestion is Floors evolution of my second favourite nightwish song everdeam. To be honest I really don't think the wacken,2013 version is absolute perfection, however I am sure it would make the perfect song for a compilation!!!. I do love Everdream, though I'm not sure of how much "evolution" there is to it, as in how often she changes one particular passage. I'll have to look into it, but I believe if I do the video, I will wait for Nightwish to release an official video of it from the virtual show, as that was an absolutely epic version as well (and I refuse to upload any footage or audio of these shows until they release them themselves). another excellent compilation. i'll always be partial to Troy playing the long whistle as opposed to the guitar, but that is a cool guitar effect. whenever i see clips from the show in Colombia, i always wonder if she told the crowd she was fighting a cold and asked them for extra help cheering her on. part of me thinks she kept to herself, not wanting to be less than usual for the fans, while another thinks she is just that honest and wants them to know if she seems to be less than, there's a legit reason. it's hard to tell exactly from the crowd, if they're being extra boisterous because that's just how South American crowds are, or, if they are giving her extra love because she's sick and still killing it.

Great video, but it needs an update with the enormous 12 second belted ending of Nemo from the second night of the live streamed concerts. It was quite spectacular.

Thank you! It was indeed very spectacular, but I decided not to add it in because Nightwish haven't released any official videos from those shows yet and I refuse to use bootlegged footage or music, it seems very unfair to the band (they did just release the Nemo audio though!)

This is not really an evolution of the end of this song, it’s a part where she can improvise. There’s not a whole lot of room for improvisation within Nightwish, but little pieces like this are the places where you can. Most musicians will embrace moments like these.

I don't think it's evolution, it's improvisation. While Tarja always sang strictly according to the specifications, Floor can use her skills as a songwriter here. That's why she's better than Tarja. And the video is a beautiful compilation.
