Anybody else here in 2023 still watching this video? I’ve been listening to this song on Spotify every week and watching this video AT LEAST once a month since it was posted. I am seriously so addicted to not only this song itself, but Floor’s version, specifically this performance. It’s phenomenal the way she captivates an audience of this size live and continues to captivate an audience of hundreds of thousands through a recording! Ugh! I can’t get enough.

Showed this to my girlfriend thinking she'd love it. Only to find out she's IN THAT CROWD. She was there for real, long before we met. And a little part of me is so jealous I kinda hate her for it a tiny bit. She told me the story of seeing this live and how it legit brought her to tears. This concert and this song in particular has to be one of the best live performances of all time! I have watched this countless times over the years and every now and again when I'm in the mood for some Nightwish I find myself back at this clip, and even though I'm a grown ass man I'm still usually in tears at the end. Have just discovered Nightwish, Ghost Love Score, and Floor Jansen today and I am completely obsessed with this performance. I've watched it several times in a row and it gives me goosebumps every single time. Everything about it is absolutely epic.

This entire Wacken 2013 performance shows Floor in absolute and full vocal glory. She always was and still is supremely good. But that night she surpassed herself. This is, hands down, one of the best vocal performances I have ever heard. I believe she is in her later vocal prime currently, her absolute peak being roughly 2010-2013, and now still being VERY far away from vocal decline. Imagine being in your later vocal prime and still being better than 99,9% of singers will ever be on their best day. Also, her vocal prime is pretty prolonged compared to most other singers. She is also so consistent in her singing. When this show took place, she already was a performing singer for over 15 years. Now this show is almost a decade old. And she still is amazing. That is very impressive. She kept getting better consistently for a long time, she prolongs her vocal prime to well over a decade, more like 15 years, and her vocal decline (which will happen. it happens to every single singer eventually. It is natural and inevitable.) will presumably happen firstly: very late and secondly: very slowly. I never was so impressed and in awe by any other contemporary singer. Her range, breath support, breath control, coordination, intonation, projection, versatility, expression, diction, longevity, efficiency, consistency, vocal control, stage presence, charisma, authenticity, crowd interaction, every aspect you could think of, she does it perfectly. Just admirable. Tuomas as a composer and Floor as a singer are a match made in heaven. Also the fact that Floor gathered skill and experience for 15 years before she joined Nightwish was very important for this combination to become this amazing. And even though Nightwish with Floor as a singer gave countless brilliant performances and even though this entire Wacken 2013 show was as good as live music can possibly get, this particular song, Ghost Love Score at Wacken 2013, is probably the most glorious and elevating and overwhelming moment she as a singer and this entire band will ever have given to the world. I will never get tired of listening to this. Never. I vividly remember how I saw this video for the first time. And how overwhelmed and captivated I was. Forever grateful for being able to listen to such music.

The best point you made here was about Floor's consistency. There are videos on youtube which compile her performances, especially the 'floorgasm' and she hits the exact same tone on the same note so perfectly that when the videos are put together it sounds like a choir of the same person. She does not vary, she hits the notes as intended perfectly EVERY TIME.

Not sure if its just me but I feel her decline is already happening, particularly for her power on high notes and her vocal durability. Occasionally I could feel her intentionally reserving energy and using a thinner voice on notes that I thought should be more explosive. I am 60. Few weeks ago I did not even know that group named Nighwish even exist. Now I am fan for this group forever. I bump it on KZbin on them via Natalia Tsarikova. Then I listen (and watch too) allmost all songs. This one is best made and performed. This song is made for history and eternity. Ghost love score is same rank as Bohemian Rapsody on Wembley. Maybe even better. To describe voice and performing of Floor is impossible. Until now it does not exist words to do it. All team was perfect on Wacken. All songs are performed extraordinary. I hope once I will go on their concert to feel that energy. Now I listen them every day. EVERY DAY.

Agreed. I first heard Nightwish around 2007. I liked the songs but couldn't take to Tarja's vocal. Discovered them again mid 2022 and could not believe Floor's vocals. The power, tone and range are unlike anything I have heard, not least is her ability to switch between operatic and rock voices, sometimes mid sentence. And it's not just the singing, but her stage presence. I like Annette's voice on Imaginaeum, but Floor is in a different league, and that is no disrespect to Annette, just my opinion on how great Floor is; her voice is a gift to the world.

I was 14 years old when watched this by the first time My Daddy was with me, and looked very confused at beggining. He's a classic rock fan, with cds and vinyls of Queen, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple and this generation of great bands and vocalists in His collection. As many times as I’ve listen to this performance, today, July 4, 2022, on the celebration of the birth of my country, I’m so greatful to be alive (I’m 74) , to be a musician and singer, and to be able to hear this band again and again. Today, I cried tears of joy and had multicultural floorgasams over and over again. She reached me deep in my heart and soul. Thanks Nightwish army for bringing me to this band, and most importantly to Floor and the absolute joy she has in singing and bonding with the audience.

You know what makes this more epic. It's a Hollywood movie ending but in real life. Not scripted, not acted, just 100% pure human emotion and determination. The amount of pressure Floor was under and she goes and pulls those vocals out. This performance should be immortalised in a museum somewhere.
