I noticed a little misunderstanding in some of the comments. I know I'm not really girly, but I'm a girl 😃 It doesn't bother me much, I'm used to being misgendered often for my short hair, the way I dress and my low voice, it's just to clarify it. I'm so happy that this video is blowing up, and I hope you like the other videos as well. Have a good day everyone!

I mean your voice totally WORKS for pop-punk, so... I had to click on this because I saw "History of Pop Punk" and then "1958" and was like wait WHAT. But, yeah...you made it work. Like, once you started with Link Wray I was like "Yeah, okay, I can see how this leads into the Kinks, and THEY'RE totally proto-punk" and then they were next... XD

This was really impressive, obviously you're a huge fan of punk and pop punk. You covered a huge range of years really well, very aware of the popularity of the genre in certain years. @@ahogammer6895 understanding that logic may not necessarily be your strongest trait, I can tell you that it should be OBVIOUS that I did not watch this video to listen to the songs themselves, I watched it because I was interested in: 1. The songs she would include in her 2000s and 2010s list; 2. Her "interpretation" of the songs; 3. Her covers and how she'd transition from one song to another. Use your brain more often. It'll serve you well so you avoid asking stupid questions simply because you're unable to consider basic options of answers beforehand.

I got into the genre during the late years of the "2000s Vibes Pop Punk Era" which is very late but I did always as a kid enjoy this of type of music just never really got deep into. The best thing is being able to discover all the amazing songs and artists from the previous eras and it’s awesome to also see the genre evolve it the way it’s doing right now. Not the biggest fan of MGK, but all the other upcoming artists in the genre such as Jxdn, and KennyHoopla are great in my opinion. Travis Barker is amazing for collabbing with so many of them. Same could be said about Kellinn Quinn for his many features. Also, my favourite band is Waterparks.

I had good friends in the NYC punk scene back in the early 80s.. you could have fun exploring the 'proto age' as you call it. Still, while a 50 year old guy doesn't think punk still has it's edge, it would be punk to just tell me to f-off and realize that you killed it... thanks for showing me some modern stuff I've never heard as I'd turned off modern music entirely by the mid 90's :)
