Each one is special in a extremely unique way and the one you grew up with will make you feel special and unstoppable,I could have been old enough to play double dash and mk ds and never personally owned mk 7

Watching this video makes me realize just how much I took Double Dash's graphics for granted. Before this game, the only three Mario Kart games had been on SNES, N64, and Gameboy Advance. Double Dash was the first Mario Kart game where the characters looked and acted that expressive. Why didn't I appreciate that at the time!?

SNES Rainbow Road: a journey across the mountains at night atop a rainbow, with even the hills glowing. N64 Rainbow Road: a festive, almost celebratory race across a rainbow high above the night sky of the city, with fireworks and a flying train. GBA Rainbow Road: a Rainbow that almost pierces the clouds, the only other things in sight are Bowser’s Airships GCN Rainbow Road: a twisty turn-filled rainbow sitting amongst the skyscrapers. DS Rainbow Road: A journey into outer space itself, nothing but pipes and stars in sight as far as the eye can see. Wii Rainbow Road: A high speed race above Earth’s orbit, narrowly dodging asteroids and Star Bits with a breathtaking view. 3DS Rainbow Road: a race of galactic proportions, moving across 3 planets and the moon with the sun on one side and a whole galaxy on the other. Wii U/Switch Rainbow Road: an advanced Space Station above the Earth with technology, ships and satellites everywhere, and even spectators floating above to watch as you race in Zero Gravity. The one in GBA Rainbow Road isn't an airship though. It's Bowser's actual castle! It has the same appearance as Paper Mario because Super Circuit is the only Mario Kart developed by Intelligent Systems, which is behind both

@@liambobyk219 personally, I love both original and new designs of the 3ds rainbow course (on 3DS and switch), but I prefer the original 3DS rainbow course music. The one from the switch booster pack isn’t really memorable or even enjoyable in my opinion...

Ever since I grew up playing the New Super Mario Bros. DS Version (2006), I would eventually love playing Mario Kart. I've mainly be playing Mario Kart Wii (2008) for 15 years now and I still enjoy it :) but I've also played the DS Version (2005). When I saw the Rainbow Road scene in the Super Mario Bros. Movie, it reminded me of the track in Mario Kart DS with the Loop the Loops.

I miss the aesthetic of older Mario Kart games cus since Mario Kart 8, it's been too realistic what the world of Mario really looks like. Although I gotta give credit to Tour which still actually feels like between the two worlds. First I was amazed by the redesign of 3DS Rainbow Road in the new DLC Wave 3 (the road looks very unique, I like it). But after looking at it the track feels kinda empty and not that colorful even though it is suppose to be a rainbow road, similarly how 8's track is portrayed. The SNES variant however feels far more colorful and playful than the previous two.

It's less colourful, but I suspect that's also partly because it appears to be the first to not appear made of tiles in some respect. It's not real a solid rainbow like the others so much as _glittering stardust._ They could've made the track a little less blue and increased the intensity of the other colours, but overall I personally love the new aesthetic. (Now if only it used the geometry and position of the star from the original.)
