First, the connected tracks in Double Dash makes me so happy. I loved the heck out of Super Mario Sunshine doing it, and thought that was the only game with that genius idea. 0:44 A common small mix up. That is actually (what I assume to be) the Queen Peach. The real Daisy Cruiser can be seen at the tail of the island where the Yoshi Copter is flying. You can also see pyramids from Dry Dry Desert in the background of Luigi Circuit...but you can't see Luigi Circuit from Dry Dry Desert for some reason... Great video overall tho ^u^

@Maya Roane Look closer. There are actually TWO ships in the background of Yoshi Circuit and the ship at 0:44 has a Shine Sprite on it. The one with Daisy's face on it (the real Daisy Cruiser) can be seen from the tail of the island where the Yoshi Copter is. As I said in my comment. You can go check for yourself if you have the game.

In Moonview Highway, the trucks are from places like Moo Moo Meadows and Toad Factory. Ribbon Road has MK8 posters, toys based on vehicles and you can find Toy Toads from Mario VS Donkey Kong. Kinda obvious but Rainbow Road happens above Toad Harbor. Other musical easter eggs include Super Mario Galaxy motifs on Cloudtop Cruise and Bowser's Theme from Super Mario 3D World on Bowser's Castle.
