Literally ALL of the sad moments in Super Mario Galaxy make me cry so much. I mostly cry when I think about Rosalina's story, but I also cry at Luma's sacrifice at the end of the game. Super Mario Galaxy didn't have to go THIS HARD, but it did. Never in my life have I sobbed so much at a Mario game.

Blumiere and Timpani's sacrifice is my favorite sad moment, hands down. Count Bleck is one of the best and most well thought out villains, and it was SO sad to see him go. At least he understood what he did was bad, and was willing to die to reverse what he had done. Hopefully, the two are happy in the Overthere, together again.
