@@nhellapena6602 I'd say their advantages are: Goomba: Can walk on spikes (not that this becomes relevant) Balloon: Fly, obviously, also basically immortal Puffy Lift: Seems to be basically immortal Spike Ball: Also basically immortal Wubba: Wall climb, very strong, can do most things Biyon: So tall. Navigates nearly normally Metal: Basically immortal, can use badges and power ups Honorary mention: Hoppycat: Succeeds so well because very very jumpy, gets over most platforming and enemy challenges with ease, not a big enough target to be an issue, can navigate nearly normally most of the time. The downsides are that I don't think it would be able to climb on poles (necessary in a few battle ship levels), and I don't think has a double jump or spin, so may struggle with very long gaps. I suspect that Hoppycat would reach a point where it couldn't proceed eventually.

As to why Hoppycap could only Dolphin Kick in the first level, the easiest explanation would be that activating most Wonder Flower transformations disables your movement badges, but when the game forces you to equip the Dolphin Kick badge at the beginning of the level it overrides the previous rule.

with all metal mario went through to make it as far as he did, he DESERVED first, he was screwed over from the start and had to work for every single victory, meanwhile hoppycat was just blessed with perfection. He already knew everything there was to know on the course. He barely had to put any effort in to remember things and I couldn't do it no matter how hard I tried. He later received a scholarship only one person in each of the county's schools received. Was good to meet him but knowing him taught me that geniuses are on another level, and if you haven't met one yourself, then you have no idea how far above the average person they are.

Funny how Tall Mario and Metal Mario were pretty much complete opposites of each other. Tall Mario seemed untouchable for most of his run but when his Achilles heel was fully revealed it destroyed him very quickly. Metal Mario's weaknesses were used against him constantly. Beaten down time and time again. But it took a lot before he finally stayed down.

Personally I would love to see how much of the game is possible with Metal Mario. Assuming he had all badges at his disposal and didn't have to worry about Wonder Seed restrictions, how much of the game could Metal Mario finish, if not fully clear? (getting all purple coins, non-transformation Wonder Flower segments, secret routes, etc.). Given that Metal Mario is just the standard game but with the jump and speed handicap, that would make for a fun challenge.

If people are already modding Mario Wonder to do stuff like this I wonder how long it'll take for people to work out how to do custom transformations and recreate some Mario Odyssey captures in it, especially the Pokio since that'd probably be pretty cool to try and navigate levels with.
