It's only a matter of time until one of them snaps. So the motive behind Scream 5 isn't that far behind from our reality. It can actually happen. The whole revenge plot in Scream 6 just give it an extra weight. But super predictable and outdone in many genres.

I remember watching the very first scream with my older cousins and my aunt and mom. I was 8. We got back to my aunt's house and the freaking front door was open even though we shut and locked it when we left. She lived down a very very long dirt road, in the country, surrounded by trees. We were terrified to enter the house. Mind you, we're all females. We called her neighbor up the road to come check the house for us since he was big strong man lol. It's just a memory that is seared into my mind. No one was there and nothing was missing. We never knew why it was open.
