He's "underrated!!!" because he's the character who they made related to the protagonist while also being the antagonist. He wasn't meant to be a thing, both in the planning for these movies and in universe. Probably the worst killer imo. The only thing he has going for him is the one man show, but then he also was a one man show. He did everything solo but every other ghostface must be a team? Wouldn't being a solo be easier, as no chance of betrayal or the other side not caring for you?

I think the thing that separates the two is how intense everything is even before Casey gets attacked. Tara's is good but it's more right to the point stabby. They definitely TORTURED Casey from the very beginning all the way until the end and just when you didn't think it could get any worse, the gutting just shot it over the edge. It was downright inhumane

yeah. In fact, I saw the first two after I saw Scooby-Doo. Scream 2 I saw on television years ago. Of course, all the good parts were cut out. And after I went back to the original and saw the first one, I didn't even realize that was shaggy because shaggy had longer hair. lol. It was weird seeing Shaggy as a Ghostface character.
