3:29 I can’t believe they brought back the mega shroom in Mario Kart Tour. But when you select the item, the music for that doesn’t play. But on the Wii console, it does. That was the same music from the New Super Mario Bros. game from the good old DS. Anyone remember the good times we had with the old consoles?

Best mario kart game for me. It just felt right with their double kart and their maps were so much fun that they even brought it back to Mario kart 8 but in the new mario kart on the phone they did bring back the speical items to the character but some character from MKDD dont have the sameone from Double Dash so thats a downer but still fun to play.

The Boomerang Flower, Piranha Plant, Crazy Eight and Super Horn were actully introduced with the Nintendo Wii U version of Mario Kart 8 in 2014, three years earlier than Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch (2017). Deluxe only brought back the Boo and Feather.

Tip for using the Lucky 7/Crazy 8: Make sure the first item you use is the Star. I once used the Bob-Omb first, threw it in front of me, hit it and lost all 6 of my other items in Mario Kart 7!

The super horn makes me feel nice and comfy, if you ever played Mario Kart 8 it's like having a guardian angel protecting you from the satanic spiny shell 😇 Granted everybody is said to have a guardian angel that we are not able to see with the material eye according to the Bible.

That's the way I define special items in Mario Kart series: * Items that are specific to certain characters in Mario Kart Double Dash or Mario Kart Tour. * Uncommon items that not all characters can obtain or are completely absent in Mario Kart Tour. These items are special in terms of Mario Kart Double Dash and Mario Kart Tour but not special in terms of the whole series although they are specific to certain characters in these games because they are too common: * Triple Green Shell * Triple Red Shell * Triple Mushroom * Golden Mushroom * Bob Omb These items are not special although they are rare in Mario Kart series because in Mario Kart Tour all characters can obtain them: * Mega Mushroom * Super Horn These are the special items I know out of Mario Kart Double Dash and Mario Kart Tour: * Feather (Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe) * Lightning Cloud (Mario Kart Wii) * POW Block (Mario Kart Wii) * Lucky 7 (Mario Kart 7) [although this one is also present as a special item in Mario Kart Tour) * Tanooki Leaf (Mario Kart 7) * Fire Flower (Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8) [although this one is also present as a special item in Mario Kart Tour, and functions very similar to Fire Balls in Mario Kart Double Dash] * Crazy 8 (Mario Kart 8) * Boomerang Flower (Mario Kart 8) [although this one is also present as a special item in Mario Kart Tour] Piranha Plant (Mario Kart 8)
