That guy who punched through the wall in the street fighter 1 opening was actually the very first appearance of Terry Bogard, the star of Fatal Fury. The developer who went on to join SNK and develop the first Fatal fury originally worked for Capcom and helped design the original Street Fighter.

Upon its initial release SFV was complete garbage. Even though they have improved vastly I would have been embarrassed as an otherwise excellent game company to rush it out like that. Plus all the add ons were expensive as hell compared to other modern fighting games. Capcom still hasn’t compensated their long loyal fans for it.

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo the best version if SF2. It isn’t. Both are two different characters. The guy that punched the wall in SF1 was an early design of Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury/King of Fighters. The two people fighting in the Street Fighter II intro are Max and Scott.
